My experience was beyond my expectations. Christine was wonderful! She was very professional and patient. The lymphatic massage was so relaxing. It felt really good and I could tell she was loosing areas in my body that were very tight. She was very adept at what she was doing. I’m sure this will help my body to perform normal functions better. The atmosphere was also wonderful. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed!

So long story short. I called to get my mother n law a gift card for a massage for Christmas. I was told the easiest way to purchase was on their website. It allowed me to schedule the appointment. But not purchase the gift card. So I called and told them. They said that’s fine. She can pay at her appointment. So I give her the cash for Christmas. Due to health related issues the appointment was rescheduled several times. She ended up paying online because of constant emails wanting the money & an overdue invoice. Even though we spoke and was told she could pay at time of her appointment. Mind you she never signed any contract. Yesterday was her appointment. She had emailed stating that 4:30 worked best for her. She thought her appointment was at 4:30. Come to find out it was at 12:30. So since she missed the appointment due to a mistake and miscommunication they took the money! $100 plus the $20 tip! Things happen. And I would like to think that people still have compassion and sympathy for others. But nope! So $120 gift for Christmas down the drain. Do not go to this place! They were rude from beginning!

I found a wonderful massage therapist. I got the Integrative plus hot stone therapy to fix my hip, lower back, and side. She worked on other problems areas too including my neck, hand, and legs. I was a mess. I needed to finish shopping for children for Long Chapel in Waynesville. 12 children is A LOT. I have 7 finished. I am also doing a lot of TNR. I know I can finish now. I went for the first time today after going over a year without a massage. Dana was my massage therapist and she was excellent. She was friendly but did not try to engage in conversation during the massage and that is always my preference. I booked a 90 minute massage and it was so worth it. She used hot stones on my back and neck and that was especially nice. I will definitely be back!

I’m thankful that I found Theraputic Massage of Waynesville, NC. Rhonda is great at scheduling and working with you to move around appointments. It’s nice the rooms are behind a closed room and each room is nicely arranged to help you relax in a warmly lit area. The only thing I would suggest is thicker walls. It’s not bad, but could be better. Christine Maddox is awesome and I highly recommend her. My husband and mother in law also see Christine. I tell my doctors that Theraputic Massage works faster and works with the whole body to work not only with the joints, but muscles together.
