I see Mary once a month for a hot stone massage. She has identified areas of discomfort and pain that I sometimes do not realize hurt. For example: I have arthritis in the index finger of my right hand that will occasionally hurt. Mary felt this pain (I did not mention to her) and deeply massaged my finger. No more pain, and I have not had pain in my finger for over a year. I ride a stationary bike at the gym and was having knee pain. I told Mary about the knee and she said she felt something in my thigh. She deeply massaged my thigh and I have no more knee pain. Mary is aware of what is going on with my body by her hands. She is very professional and knowledgeable about her profession and the impact upon health.
