Megan at TMA has been an integral part of my migraine management over the last few years, and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of a therapeutic massage. Yes, you can absolutely get just a relaxing, take it down a notch massage, but it seems to me this practice is very aware of the mind/body balance, whether it’s injury, migraine, or stress. Megan, the owner, is very intuitive in terms of what my body needs, whether it’s more or less pressure, a different approach to a tight area, or something totally different, like reflexology. Three years ago I would’ve laughed thinking that was just a foot massage. I had no idea how effective it can be, and it is wonderfully relaxing! I don’t often write reviews, only for really poor, or truly excellent service. Because I rely on the reviews of others when searching for a vendor, restaurant etc., I felt compelled to write this review for TMA, five gold stars! This is not a glitzy day spa, this is a small office located in W. Hartford Center, with a wonderfully warm and calm vibe, a place to get some real work done! Megan at TMA has been an integral part of my migraine management over the last few years, and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of a therapeutic massage. The hours were flexible and they were able to schedule me at time others couldn’t that day. I would recommend her and this business to anyone in the area!
