Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI normally don’t write reviews, but I was very pleased with the experience I had here and I didn’t want my compliments to go without being said in some way! I went in for a deep tissue massage with Jamie Yungandreas, who is a new massage therapist there I believe and she was absolutely lovely! She was very receptive and responsive to what I needed out of that appointment and provided exactly what I needed. She used just the right amount of pressure, and seemed to intuitively know what areas have been troubling me the most! I definitely recommend booking an appointment with her specifically, although I’m sure their other MTs are just as wonderful!I selected Jamie initially because of her background in blue collar work and sensitivity to the needs of working folks. I’m a graduate student now, but my roots in working class life have always made me hesitant to book an appointment where the focus for an hour is on my body’s needs, because that’s rarely ever a huge priority in my community. It was really nice to see that not only was that her background, but that she implements it into her practice as well by tailoring her sessions to the client in question. I normally don’t write reviews, but I was very pleased with the experience I had here and I didn’t want my compliments to go without being said in some way! I went in for a deep tissue massage with Jamie Yungandreas, who is a new massage therapist there I believe and she was absolutely lovely! She was very receptive and responsive to what I needed out of that appointment and provided exactly what I needed. She used just the right amount of pressure, and seemed to intuitively know what areas have been troubling me the most! Jody was super sweet and talked me through the process the entire time. She was honest and direct but also understanding and informative. We talked about other services that may also help my skin like a peel or dermaplaning. I was also a little nervous when some of the cleansers started to make my face tingle but she assured me right away that was the intention. I went in for my first ever facial and I couldn’t be more pleased with how it went! Jody was super sweet and talked me through the process the entire time. She was honest and direct but also understanding and informative. We talked about other services that may also help my skin like a peel or dermaplaning.
