I had an appointment with her and I was running late because of traffic and a little frustrated. When I called her she told me to come on in, no worries. I was so relaxed on the table to where I was trying not to fall asleep, the massage was so fabulous. This was the best massage I ever had and she uses organic products that she makes herself. Such a peaceful environment, Mariama is such a wonderful person to meet. I had an appointment with her and I was running late because of traffic and a little frustrated. When I called her she told me to come on in, no worries. I was so relaxed on the table to where I was trying not to fall asleep, the massage was so fabulous. Critical: ProfessionalismUnfortunately the therapist that runs this business did not show up for a massage appointment I’d booked with her over the phone as a birthday gift for my mother. I’d received a calendar confirmation for the appointment the day before. At the time we booked, the business owner offered a Friday appointment for my mother and I mentioned a Saturday appointment would actually be more preferable so my dad could drive my mother on their shared day off. The business owner then offered me a Saturday (2/6/21) appointment at noon. We’d booked the massage over the phone on Tuesday 2/2/21 and I got a reminder for the appointment sent to me on Friday 2/5/21. The business owner did not show up for the massage and could not be reached on the day of the appointment, 2/6/21, by my mother and father who tried calling her multiple times. An hour after my parents called to say the massage therapist had not shown up at the business location for the noon appointment and that the business number’s voicemail box was full, I got notice of cancellation sent to m y phone at 10 am PST / 1 pm EST. The next day I got a voicemail but there was no explanation or apology. Just a message from the business owner saying she wanted to address my concerns. I’d received a calendar confirmation for the appointment the day before.
