Wish I could give this place 6 stars! Erika was AMAZING!! She has 18 years of experience and is so professional and skilled at what she does!! I love The White Room Salon!!! The environment is modern & trendy but the people are warm, friendly & professional. I regularly get my hair done by Brittany J. who makes me feel beautiful & pampered every time! I also spray tan in the Versa Spa weekly. Im addicted. Pricing is very reasonable also. Honestly, The White Room is my sanity saver. A few hours there can take me from grungy toddler mommy to feeling like a sexy beautiful wife again! I’ve never had any negative experience there & I would recommend this place to anyone! You will not be disappointed.

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI booked an appointment at this salon for the first time based on their google reviews. I had an appointment today at 1pm. Out of courtesy I arrived 5mins early. When I walked in I was not greeted nor approached regarding my attendance. As the salon staff were busy I patiently waited near the front. After 15mins with still no acknowledgement of my presence I decided to approach a staff member reluctantly who was styling a customers hair. The staff member said she would check. A few minutes later I was approached by another staff member who said she would call the staff member I was booked with. I was again approached a few minutes later to be advised that I should speak to the owner. Having waited 25mins I decided to leave and I advised the staff member. I was told the owner would call me, I am still waiting on that call. I was not offered an apology nor any remorse for how I was treated or my loss of time. Wow…. BIG MISTAKE. I researched for over a year to find the best salon to do a balayage, and I finally chose this place, lol. A salon that claims at the bottom of every receipt: No color is ever a problem. Well, apparently, it is! I asked for a balayage specialist and they gave me Toni. I insisted on a consultation, and I was totally honest about the products I had used on my hair, which included boxed hair dye, and henna. I explained in great detail about my vision, and I showed her a pic of exactly what I wanted, and I didn’t expect a YES so fast. My hair was in great condition before going in, and I wanted to keep it that way. I wanted a strand test, but said she DIDN’T need one, because she was highly skilled. I thought…. wow this is awesome… after all, she is a “specialist”! I wanted something similar to GUY TANG! She told me all about her training & experience. One month later, I arrive to my appt, and she begins to do my hair. As we wait, she keeps checking on my foils… and she reassures me everything is fine. Then, she whips out her phone and starts googling henna. I was like, my consultation was a month ago and you are just now researching it??!!! OMG, I really began to panic. She rinses me, and admits my hair is green & orange. She uses two toners, and my hair ends up looking exactly the same as when I came in. Where are my beautiful highlights? Where is the balayage I asked for? I paid $150 for this? This was no balayage. She said I would either need to cut 5 inches off the ends OR wait a year to redo it. WAIT, WHAT???? This was the beginning of summer and I wanted the balayage I had been waiting for! I was super disappointed. I wanted to speak to the owner right then, but I respected her instructions to wait and see just how light it got. I spent another $150 on Oribe hair products. After one week, my hair got a little lighter but it looked nothing like a balayage, and the ends were green. Wow… $300. GUY TANG SHE IS NOT! My hair just looked BLAHHHH. What a waste. I went in 7 days later and spoke to Nick, the owner, and told him about my experience in hopes that he would listen, understand and make it right. Wow, this guy was as pretentious as they come. He argued, berated me & negated everything I said. He was really disrespectful, unprofessional and was appalled that I had the nerve to complain! He REFUSED to refund my money, and didn’t care about how unhappy I was. “We don’t provide free services….” he says. Ummm, I wanted my hair done the right way, by the right person, and I wasn’t going to pay for it all over again! I went in feeling hopeful, and left feeling worse. I ended up just coloring back over it. Please DO NOT go here if you want a balayage, because Toni has no clue what that is. And the owners attitude sucks… why treat your patrons that way? What a true shame! 🙁
