I booked an appointment for a royal shave for 4:30pm on January 11. It was my first time going so I had no preference for the barber so I chose David who was available for that time. I arrived about 20 min earlier and therefore I was taken care earlier as well. The royal shave is advertised to last 30 min but David did it in less than 20 min. Consequently, it felt rushed and the shaving was not as meticulous as I hoped. For instance, he did not use a shaving brush to apply the shaving cream but instead used his hand. In my opinion, a professional barber should always used a brush to prepare ones skin better for the razor.
