My general experience with bikini waxing is that it’s either just fine or it’s really, REALLY not. But AJ at The Waxing Wahine is the first time I can say I actually enjoyed a bikini wax! Everything about the experience was excellent, from the clear communication before the appointed to the comfortable salon environment. She’s super fun to talk to and works quickly and painlessly (hard wax FTW!). Color me impressed.

i’ve only been doing Brazilian waxes for about a few months so my experience is minimal, but this is the best Brazilian i’ve had yet. AJ did a fantastic job at keeping me distracted with conversation (she’s EXTREMELY relatable and kind!) and counted down when she was about to pull a strip of wax. her space was calming & comfortable and i NEVER once felt judged. will absolutely be going again

AJ is fantastic! She did a wonderful job and it was painless compared to other waxes I’ve gotten. She even took the time to remove some ingrown hairs. Also, AJ is so kind and easy to talk to which made the experience more pleasant and go by quickly. The only catch is that I had a bit of a hard time finding the place — you have to go upstairs and it is not well marked.

Signing the waiver was done by text, also super easy, and appt confirmations came by text too which were incredibly helpful. Extremely professional all around! AJ was my aesthetician and she was such a joy and did an absolutely perfect job. Highly recommended!!!
