So pleased with all of the staff here. They are all pleasant and make great, comfortable conversation during the whole process. The staff are knowledgeable and take their time to answer any questions you have. I appreciate the walk in availability. I’ve seen 3 different waxing professionals and all have been happy which makes me think they enjoy their job. The staff are always happy, smiling, laughing which again tells me they enjoy their job. When employees enjoy their job customers have better experiences, usually. That happy attitude is likely a result of good management and good pay. So clearly they are doing something right. I have also been able to increase the amount I get waxed because they use soft honey wax. I previously went to a hard water and was treated horribly and the pain was excruciating. I don’t have that here. Waxing isn’t comfortable but it’s not torturous. I’ve had my brows waxed and dyed (I have them microbladed) and they were able to give them a nice little pop. I have 0 complaints and would recommend anyone come here. If you are a first time waxed come here over a hard wax place. Also for people who have only used hard wax, you need to try soft wax, its so much less pain. The staff are also fairly quick but detailed to make sure they get all the little hairs. And if they do miss something you can always pop right in and they will remove what they missed. I tend to leave a little sticky but they try to remove all of the wax residue. I have also been able to stretch out my appointment times between sessions from previous hard wax times. One of the professionals advised she didn’t think they were actually pulling the hair with the hard wax and that it was likely breaking which is why I needed to go more often and had stubble within a day or 2. My hair is also thinner and less dense. Trust me, you won’t regret coming here.

Walked in and was lucky enough to get Martha for an eyebrow wax with no wait. THRILLED with how my eyebrows turned out. Always a great experience at this place and you can’t beat the price.

The lady who did my eyebrows messed them up so bad. They’re so uneven. One is so much thinner than the other and she took so much hair off one eyebrow it looks visibly thinner. I’m in tears. She was so hard handed as well. Worst experience for brows ever.

I would highly recommend wax strip for all your waxing needs!!! They’re super gentle and do amazing work! I can’t remember the name of the girl that did my eyebrows but she was fantastic!!! She started a conversation and we talked most of the time she was working on my eyebrows, so friendly and respectful!

I hate to even write this review. I’ve been going to the wax strip for many years. They were the first place I’d ever gone to and I fell in love with the employees. But it has really changed. A lot of the great people I loved working with me are gone and just recently I was told they were done to bare bones staff and it shows. Murfreesboro has been growing immensely and I understand, but the wait is usually about an hour or more and they closed the other location on top of that. It’s been exhausting to try to go. If they had gone back to scheduling appointments that would be great, but it’s just overwhelming now. That and every time I go, the floors are sticky in the room and sometimes you get in a room and have to wait a while because they’re so busy. And the staff appears overwhelmed and sometimes (some of them) are in a bad mood and act like they don’t even want you there. It’s just really unfortunate. They don’t even have the points system anymore and their prices are much more expensive than competition in town who offer the same services. Unfortunately, I’m officially breaking up with the Wax Strip and going elsewhere.

I wish I could give a 10 star. My first experience with waxing and Andrea was amazing. Very professional and I was very satisfied with services. I ended up buying two packages for future visits. The ladies out front were very nice and helpful in picking waxing packages.

I’m a regular here and everyone is amazing. I’ve been seeing Amanda and she is wonderful! The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door. The wait is never too bad as long as you time it correctly. With a little patience and understanding you can always count on a professional experience with exceptional care and customer service.
