Everyone is friendly & the place is nice & clean. The only complaint l have & always complain to them about is the wax is to hot, but my service on last trip was great. I normally don’t leave reviews but I was highly disappointed in my session today @ The Wax Strip. I get Brazilians regularly there but today there was a misunderstanding about the wax that I use. I typically use lavender wax but they used honey wax instead. My wax was painful and told them the issues but I still paid. Dumb on my part. I called back and asked for my money back and the manager told me that I couldn’t get my money back because I technically got the service done. I advised her that I am aware of how the skin works , I’m a nurse I’m not saying I’m having an allergic reaction I wanted my money back for the inconvenience. I was swollen and in a lot of pain My chart is noted for a certain wax and I always request it still. I left with no refund only ingrown hair oil and a phone number to call for tomorrow if things get worse. Oh and to use cold compression. My waxer was amazing and mistakes do happen so I get it but the handling of the situation was terrible. This mistake was not my fault and it’s crazy to have such an outcome.
