I went into The w nail bar with high expectations, and i was pretty disappointed. When i first entered, i received a good welcome, and the decor was girly and pretty. When i was getting my manicure and pedicure, i was shivering because it was so cold inside the building, so i couldn’t relax and enjoy the experience. They also did not have a good selection of colors; i did not leave the salon satisfied with the color of my nails, which is very disappointing because i spent all that money and didn’t even get close to what i wanted.

I came in with a group of friends under a large booking to have my nails done. I have acrylic nails, and they had me pick out my color and sit for the technician. The technician looked at my nails, didn’t ask what I wanted, and just started filing away my polish. After she had nearly removed all of the polish, she asked if I had acrylic nails, and I said yes, and then she told me they don’t service acrylic nails. Why didn’t she ask me what I wanted first, and tell me they don’t do acrylic before screwing my nails up? She acted like I was crazy for not knowing they don’t work on acrylic but there’s no signage posted, and she didn’t interact with me until it was too late. The cherry on top? I had to pay full price and she never once apologized.

I had a great gel manicure done here by Kiera. She was super sweet and friendly. She checked in with me a few times to make sure my nails were shaped the way I wanted. My gel manicure is almost two weeks out and still looks great – there haven’t been any chips. I work in healthcare and wash my hands a lot, so I am very impressed. I will be back.

I’ve been meaning to review this place for a while… Three of my friends and I scheduled pedicures for a Saturday afternoon. There was a basketball game downtown and a lot of traffic because of it. We were running late for our appointment, so the receptionist gave us a call. We told the receptionist we were just parking now because of the traffic and we would be inside in five minutes. She was happy and friendly and said “no problem!”. She gave us no warning of their policy that if you’re 15 minutes late your appointment will be automatically canceled and you’ll have to pay full price. So after we parked and walked into the salon 5 minutes later (15 minutes late exactly) , she had a completely different tone and was liked “you’re late, your appointments have been canceled, and you’ll still be charged full price” — It would have been nice to get that warning over the phone, so I could have at least let my friends out of the car, while I parked, so that 3 out of the 4 of us could have gotten our pedicures… They made no offer to reschedule us or at least let some of us still get our nails done, even if there wasn’t time for all of us. It was around $250 that they charged us for doing nothing.

The W Nail Bar is the answer to my prayers! I’ve waited a long time for a wonderful nail salon Downtown Indy and THIS IS IT. I’ve been several times and each time has been exactly the experience I’ve been searching for! The staff is professional, talented, and always provides great service. Casey is my hero! I can honestly say I have never been more impressed with a skill set. My nails are flawless EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I’m not sure what kind of magic she’s doing but my natural nails are the longest they’ve ever been and I’m so happy! I will keep returning until the end of time. THANK YOU!

A super cute space with a great selection of colours. I made the mistake with my booking time and was 5 minutes late but they did their best to fit my treatment in. My toes looks beautiful and my feet were scrubbed and oiled to perfection. I will be back next time i’m in town and wont be late this time! Sadly I cant remember my technician’s name but she was super lovely and kind. Good job!

I schedule an appointment for my partner and I for 2 pedicures. I called and scheduled the appointment days in advance. When we went in for the pedicures, they scheduled us for manicures instead. They said they could get 1 person in for the following day but we scheduled this for our anniversary so that was out of the question. We had no availability the following week to reschedule. I was then charged full price for the appointment. I called, spoke to someone, and they said it was because we did not show up. I told them we came in and they could not get us in, she then offered for us to come back the same day for the service, even though when we came in for our service, they said nothing was available the rest the day. I then asked for a refund and she said “no problem” and then hung up the phone call. Terrible customer service, we will not be returning.

I really did not want to write this review. I decided not to write this review after leaving with two nipped and bleeding cuticles. I decided to not write this review after three of my nails chipped within 4 days of my gel manicure. I however then decided to write this review after 4 chipped nails and two completely pealed nails in less than 2 weeks from my gel manicure. I frequently get a gel manicures with polish that lasts 3 – 5 weeks. $50+ for a manicure that doesn’t last even 2 weeks is unacceptable.

For a basic pedicure of 45$ my nail tech did not go an inch above my ankle. In all my years of getting a pedicure you atleast go halfway through the calf. Same goes for the hands. The clipper fr the cuticle was not used, and so the neatness that I wanted was lacking frm both feet and the hands.
