I have (dread) locs that are way past my shoulders so I haven’t had a sew-in in years. I was skeptical about how a frontal sew in would turn out but I wanted to have loose hair again without cutting my locs. Let’s just say that Gabby slayed my hair. You can’t even tell that I have locs at all. I’ve had more than one person ask me if I’d cut my locs off or if I had cut them shorter. The color that she dyed the hair is beautiful. I love my hair and so does everyone that I know.

My appointment for was 1:30 and she did not start on me until after 3pm. When I asked her if she was aware of my appt. time she said, with disregard, that Fri and Sat are busy so if I wanted to be seen at my appt. time (and not over an hour later) that I should book on Wed or Th. This was my first time there and I was really shocked at her statement and disdain in her voice. She did a nice job on my hair but I won’t be back.

I loved the barber. However, I can’t go back anymore. I have a youth that goes to the shop. I have gone and there are women cussing and gossiping. Other times there is cussing on the TV. I am trying to raise a young man. If a busines is going to serve families they need to be family-friendly. That’s adults being self-centered and unprofessional.

My favorite barbershop. They take appointments; which is a game changer. Although, they are on the pricey side… but you most definitely get what you pay for here. No doubt.

Rude, unprofessional, unapologetic, and just poor service. They should be more welcoming upon entering the shop, should listen to what the customer requests and try not to convince them otherwise to eliminate more work for themselves, and try to be more considerate of the customers point of view.
