UPDATE: Shawn finally got some additional help on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s to accommodate all the appointments he has, and his new barber Forest is AWESOME! He cut my hair today and did such a great job. He took the time to ask me what I wanted, kept checking in, and did an awesome job. If Shawn’s schedule is too packed, Forest is a fantastic guy who does a great cut!

Shawn @ the vibe is top knotch, he cares about his clients and does his best. Some of these bad reviews on here are illegitimate. Everyone needs a lunch break and no modern day shop can take walk ins because the nature of the business is appointments to ensure that clients don’t have to wait around all day for an appointment, so it’s actually for the benefit of the clients! That being said, check out the vibe he’s amazing at what he does and it’s always a good time in there.

I’m not normally a review type of person be that positive or negative. However, if it helps with reach and the service was great, then I’m all for it. It’s tough finding a good barber in the OBX, but I stumbled across this place via Google. The shop itself is modern and extremely clean – the whole vibe is high energy. The owner, Shawn, couldn’t have been more respectful, helpful, and professional. He checked in on what I liked best in terms of my hair, but I trusted him to do his thing. The haircut itself is one of the best I’ve had since being here from 2010. As a first time customer, he took $5 off when I wasn’t expecting that or wanting that. It just goes to show you his passion and care for his business and customers. This is my new place for haircuts. If you’re looking for a down to earth yet professional barber that pays attention to detail, look no further because Shawn is your guy. Great job!

Shawn is amazing as a barber, bus especially as a person. The cut was fast, sharp, and classy. The barbershop is very well located, the music is awesome, and the barber is great, you couldn’t ask for anything else. Maybe that’s why he’s always busy (so make sure to call and book beforehand).

Tried to get a haircut. Called at 12:07, left message. 3 hours later still no call back. Went to shop at 12:30, OPEN sign on but doors were locked and all 3 barber chairs empty with bibs covering the chairs. Sign on door says you should make an appointment that walk in’s may not be accommodated. Hours posted on internet and on doors say open but they weren’t. Guess they don’t need the business.

The barber is extremely friendly and checks in often as he did my cut to ensure it was what I wanted. Prices are absolutely reasonable and I highly recommend this spot for a cut. I am down here for 3 weeks spending time on the ocean and needed a cut. He got me in and did a great job.
