Just had the best haircut experience I’ve had in years in all places, on my visit to Lacrosse Wisconsin at the Ultimate Salon and Spa on 2nd Street La Crosse Wisconsin. Huge shout out to BrendaKay (filling in from Winona) was super friendly, professional and this girl knew how to cut that hair. Thank you. The girl at the register another asset to the shop. I don’t normally get my hair colored in a salon because I don’t like how it turns out. My experience at the Ultimate Salon totally changed my mind and I will be going back! I went in with beautiful bright teal blue hair that unfortunately I had to change for work. The staff was so nice and got me set up with a plan to color it black and leave some blue on the ends. They were able to get me in last minute, which was awesome! While my color was processing, I got a free complimentary hand massage which was suuuuuper awesome. I then got my hair trimmed and styled, both of which looked great. My hair feels really healthy and looks very shiny after my appointment. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on my hair and I loooooooove it. I was bummed out about having to change my blue hair, but I’m SO in love with my new style. Shout out to Pa for working some serious hair magic.

I have been going to this salon for about a year. I enjoy my stylist and her skills are strong enough that I booked my wedding there, On my wedding day everybody looked lovely and the stylists did a good job working with my nervous little flower girl. My hair and makeup turned out beautiful, left the groom speechless, and even better it held up for the entire afternoon and evening. Everybody was done on time, even early, and the day progressed smoothly. My only comment is that I thought we were suppose to have the salon to ourselves for an hour or two and there were other clients there. This was not a problem though. You know that moment you dream of where you see your groom and they are breathless and tearful, that was my wedding and I know Ultimate was a main piece of that reaction. I felt so very beautiful on my special day. One minor comment is that I was informed that if I wanted to pay for the girls’ hair that it would be easiest to buy them gift certificates. this seems like a great idea except on thing, you can’t put a tip on the card and some of my girls were frustrated by this because they were not prepared to have an out of pocket expense.
