I’ve gotten several haircuts here over the years, some good and some just ok. Mostly I just get the vibe that the trim scene could care less if they get my business. Rules regarding walk-ins and pre-booking have changed several times, if you want to book an appointment ahead of time a fee of $5-10 is tacked on for some reason. Getting a cut for long hair is difficult, I’ve been turned away because there wasn’t a stylist available to cut my mid length hair. The whole experience just feels very impersonal, like you should feel lucky to get a haircut here. If I’m spending $50-60(before tip and without a wash/style), I’d rather take my business somewhere I’m treated warmly and not like an inconvenience.

I had hair down to my lower back and wanted it all cut for donation. I chose this establishment because of other reviews that implied it is a none judgmental environment. Well I scheduled an appointment online with Sarah who made this a wonderful experience. My decision as a woman to buzz cut my hair was respected, she knew how to section my hair off for donation, gave me a recommendation for who to donate to, and simultaneously didn’t take up too much of my time. The price was good, environment relaxed, and I felt welcomed. I plan to return for future haircuts now that I am rocking a wonderful buzz cut.

Got a quick trim, 1/2 inch all around. Took 15-20 minutes. They charged 50$. The haircut was fine but it was nowhere near worth the price.
