Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI was scheduled a week ago for a gel mani and gel pedi today 1/22/22 at 10 am. This place is priced at almost twice as much as I pay at Luxury Nail for the same service. Also you can’t just walk in here, you have to make an appointment. So bougie right? Wrong, the only thing bougie about this place is the price. I asked, after the pedi was so poorly done, that we not do the gel mani portion of the scheduled service. I attached the picture of my pedi which costed roughly $65 at the ten spot and then I went to Luxury to get my gel mani for $35. The ten spot doesn’t have toe spacers for polish, they twisted paper towels and wove them through my toes to space them, they don’t have pedi tubs with running water but a giant bowl of water that they bring over. They put a dime size amount of cuticle lotion on the back of their gloved hand and applied sparingly to each toe. I asked why she was using the product so sparingly and she said “it doesn’t take much.” Then she used about a nickel sized amount of some clear gel stuff to rub on my heel and foot. She did nothing with the cuticles, saying “toes don’t have much cuticles to them.” Actually my nail tech was very very new to this job and I don’t blame her for their prices or lack of product, tools and implements. But it was just such a bad service and so expensive. My pedi was from the ten spot for $65 and my mani was from Luxury nail for $35. Nuff said. The products smell wonderful and the overall experience was very relaxing. I would highly recommend!Service: Skin treatments

My new brows are thick and shaped beautifully! The Ten Spot’s owner, Brenda really cares about the quality and cleanliness of the salon!

Critical: QualityI wanted to love this place, but my waxing results were not good. I have been getting waxed for over 15 years and am well versed in before and aftercare procedures. However, I have never experienced so many issues after a wax.Pros: the staff was friendly, and the premises were clean and inviting. Booking was easy.Cons: I think this is a combination of the wax and technique is the issue. The wax was very sticky and did not dry firmly; the esthetician’s gloves were getting stuck together throughout the process. Since the wax never hardens appropriately, she couldn’t get a smooth pull. Since she struggled to grip the wax, she could not keep my skin pulled taunted enough while she was removing it. Double whammy, ouch! I was left with bruises, follicle bumps, and several ingrown hairs. Since the wax didn’t adhere well, many hairs were missed making the service feel incomplete.This is a cute place and I hope their nail services are better; but I can’t recommend the waxing services.I wanted to love this place, but my waxing results were not good.
