VERY clean store and tanning beds. They have the biggest (and best IMO) selection of level 3-5 beds in Tyler, including multiple level 4 air conditioned beds, a level 4 stand-up bed, and level 5 that’s 100% high pressure bulbs. As of 1/2017 they had much lower advertised prices than Palm Beach or Trutan too. I said “advertised prices” because, for full transparency, Blake (the owner) is a good friend of mine. For that reason, I cannot give an accurate unbiased review on customer service and similar aspects; but even when only considering the more objective info like available beds, cleanness, and pricing I would use the Tanning Zone hands down regardless of any personal connections to there.

This is hands down the best place in Tyler to tan!! I have tried palm beach, tru tan and many more and none compare to this place. I have been going here for years and I believe it’s different and bettter from all other tanning salons. Not only do they have the best prices in town but It’s personable and you can really tell it’s family owned and not a corporate chain. Everyone who works here is so sweet and helpful! They remember you by name and always ask how you’re doing. Not to mention the facility itself is sparkling clean and the beds are amazing. They always have new bulbs and get you DARK! This place is the best, I have switched all my friends over to this place and they have seen how amazing it is for themselves. I will be a tanning zone member for life

This is THE best tanning place I’ve been to, and not just in the Tyler area. I live 25 minutes away, and the drive is completely worth it. The bulbs are always changed out, the owner is just such a great-down to earth guy, and the atmosphere just feels so comfortable. Some places feel so snobby and over priced, but not here. It’s laid back, everyone is friendly, and don’t judge you when you show up in your sleep clothes and face masks lol They also run great sales on lotions! If you’re reading this, looking for the best place in Tyler- you’ve found it.

My all time favorite tanning salon! The beds are ALWAYS clean as well as the salon. The workers are always very sweet no matter the situation! If there is ever a wait the workers do everything in their being to get you in as fast as possible! I like how there are a lot of beds some salons don’t have as many as tanning zone! I’ve never heard a bad thing about The Tanning Zone! They cater to their guest in a way that major corps don’t like Planet Beach, etc. They’re a locally own company and they truly care about their guest. Plus, Whitney gives the best spray tans ever!!! My best friend got one done by her for her wedding and it turned out so flawless. They also have the best prices in town. Support local businesses!
