I was so nervous to get a spray tan yesterday, I’m in a wedding today but every time I have ever gotten a spray tan my hands and feet turn orange. I guess I just have bad luck with them. Georgia promised me she would do me right for this wedding and she did!! She did so amazing and this tan looks so good and natural. Highly recommend her and this place.

I was so nervous to walk in the doors. I’m not a girly girl and don’t know how this works. Every one of those girls took the time to explain any questions I had. They were all super friendly and even though I’m a farm girl that came in in jeans and boots, they treated me just like everyone else. I went in terrified, and three months later I’m so confident to go. I feel like they love their job, the facility is always clean, they take great pride in their work and they always recommend the best product. If you are going to tan, please go here!!!

I literally just moved to Greenville for school yesterday and knew I needed a tanning membership. I decide to listen to other ECU students and try out The Sunshine Factory. From the second I walk in, the bubbly sales associate (I am so sorry I did not catch your name!) immediately greets me. The sales associate was very informative and helped me pick out a tanning monthly plan, lotions and spray tan color, the entire time still bubbly with a huge smile on her face. The great customer service didn’t stop there. She made sure I had a comfy robe to go from tanning bed to the mystic tan spray system. She walked me through both the bed and the spray tanning system with details and gave me honest tips. When it started to rain, she even walked me to my car with a towel over my head so the spray tan didn’t run. Like seriously GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! 10/10 would recommend and seriously to anyone in Greenville who needs to be tanned, GO HERE!!PS It is so clean and comfy inside the building!Service: TanningWow! Needed a quick base and to blend my farmers tan on my arms for a wedding this weekend. I went in for the level 6 instant bed and was able to snag a promotion of buying a hat (which cost the same as 1 visit) and getting 3 visits free! Can’t complain about saving money. Staff at the front counter was also helpful in explaining things and helping me pick lotion.

I have been going to The Sunshine Factory for sunless tanning and bed tanning for a while. I froze my bed tanning membership over summer and then came back for a mystic tan yesterday with my roommate. We both paid $40 for a dark tan with bronzer and a primer, this morning (I have STILL not washed it off) I look like I got a light spray while my roommate is clearly 5-6 shades darker. I called them to see if there was anything they could do and the girl was super sweet and told me she’d talk to her manager and see if she could fix it. She asked the basic questions and even wondered if the girl switched the spray cartridge out because that could’ve made me lighter since my roommate sprayed first. I was then told it was probably ‘just my skin’ even though i’ve gotten tans from here and other places and have never had this issue. She called me back shortly and asked if I used barrier cream as a primer….. and then told me there was nothing they could do other than apologize. The girls are so nice here and I normally have a great experience but I am disappointed as I have an event tonight and look 1 shade darker than my natural skin tone.

I have had a membership with Sunshine a few times, and after I cancelled my membership the most recent time, they still kept charging my account for 2 months. After several calls to them, I took the paperwork in for my cancellation and they had to credit my account back with the assistance of my bank. Honestly I was very upset from this since my package was on the more expensive side, but I was credited back eventually so all was fine. Most recently, I wanted to try them out again since the beds were great when I was tanning there, so I brought a competitor coupon in since I knew they accepted them, and the manager had me bending over backwards to even consider it. She wanted me to go home and print it out even after I showed it to her on my phone and make me come back a second time, just so she could verify the beds the other local company has. I’m sorry but I will not be giving you my business anymore. I feel that you were ultimately trying to make me gain your business, not the other way around.

Make sure you are prepared the customer is never right. I have been to this place for years and they have trouble replacing a pair of eye wear. My bed cut off -their fault- and they advised I could come back and get the other 3 minutes another time. Today was the worst. I was sold the wrong lotion. I requested the employee look it up. She advised me on a lotion I never used. So I’m stuck with a bottle of lotion I hate and no exchanges. I think they could have ate one bottle of lotion.

I have been tanning several years with these folks and it is always a pleasure. The facilities are awesome and the staff is so helpful. Everything is always very clean and the choice of beds is great. Best value for your $$ and many options. Hands down the best place in Greenville!
