I really enjoyed the neighborly, friendly ambiance of this place. Amanda is super friendly and helpful when I talked to her about my hair concerns and styling options. It is a small local business so it does not have the size nor flair of a chain or luxury salon, but the prices reflect that and I appreciate the value. My haircut was also super fast and great quality, which was awesome! I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Amanda is wonderful.She knows her stuff. By the time I leave I am happy with my color, style & cut ! That hasn’t happened in too many places , when you have curly hair and like to color your hair from dark to Blonde, I was shot down by a few salons. Amanda had me a true Blond the first day I left there. “Thanks Amanda” for making me happy and feeling better about myself. I have been coming to The Style Lounge about 6 months now.

Highly recommend the owner Amanda for all color needs! Been reclaiming my hair after years of damage and bad color jobs and she has been wonderful at helping me get to a more natural and vibrant color while healing my hair and my trauma from past catastrophies. My teenager daughter who is very critical loves her and the job she does too. The women at Sally Beauty advised she preformed color miracles and they did not lie.

The worst place ever do not think their nice because the minute u dont go with what they say they go against u!! She responded by saying we were moving & wanted a discount which we did not then she offered to give us other services that we did not request on her vacation and then took money from my mother and then never delivered that’s the truth. Btw they dont have 3 stylist its just her & a pt girl who’s very nice but just in traing. Also we told her she did give us a nice haircut but the pricing she had at first quoted us wasnot what we received. If anyone was taken advantage of it was us. Also her employee wasnt off on fmla. Amanda said she should’ve never given her the day off..but the employee was going out the night before & she wanted to help her out. We didn’t ask for a discount just asked if she had any flexibility in her pricing as we liked the services we received but couldn’t continue at $180.00 for a cut & touch up. FYI before my stylist of 20yrs retired I nor my mother or sister had even 1 disagreement with her she never ever got coloring on any of our clothes!! I also get my nails & pedicures done at the same place I have for around 20yrs & if I ever had any problems at all we would talk & she would fix but that’s been a few times in over 20yrs & she just adores my mom. We were just honest people looking for a decent priced hair stylist. Btw the best I ever went to(when I could afford) was Timothy Michael at Salon Salon..i paid a lot but when he was done I was beautifully cut & highlighted. Over the years I’ve went to both him & Leona but i knew when I was going to him it would cost because he was awarded #1 stylist for many years. We became friends & then he unfortunately got MS. Anyway Amanda was extremely rude solely because she was rushed & wanted to get out of there to get ready for her trip. I understood that that’s why I said I would get my haircut when she got back & she thanked me & said she would do it at no charge for me being so understanding idn ask her to do that at all & frankly thought she would forget she said that because she does that often say one thing & do another (just because she is always so rushed) so I was fully prepared to pay. She needs to hire help..it is not my fault she works 70 or 90 hrs a week as she is constantly saying. Good luck & God bless her because she does do good work when she has the time to take to do so.
