I popped in this morning just as the studio was opening and encountered, as she told me after taking care of me, the (self described) boss. She was so kind and graciously took care of my unscheduled request for a quick wash before her expected client came in. Easy to talk to, gave me a great wash that probably would have been incredible if I hadn’t caught her off guard, and all around top notch in my book. I’ll definitely pop back in if I’m out that way again and in need of a wash!

I went to Saige for 2 years while I wore my hair long and curly, and then switched to Sarah for my last cut because of scheduling needs. While Sarah did my hair, Saige cut my sister’s, and they both did a phenomenal job!!! My sister’s hair has never been this curly before and she is absolutely in love! I’m loving my angled lob and undercut too. Both ladies do an amazing job and are so kind and wonderful to work with. 10/10, I’m referring all my friends and my mom here.

I have been a client of the Strand for 4 years. I have been having Sarah do my hair. I went in for my August appointment, and Sarah did not order in my extensions. She has done it for the last year. She told me she wasn’t given enough notice. So, she used my old ones. I went to the Salon for my Sept. 14th appointment. She was not there. When I called she ended up calling me back stating my appointment was for the next day. I happened to have had the reminder card stating the 14th at 9. She made no apology for her mistake and told me she could not fit me in. She did have me wait at the studio until she got there and then told me. Basically I waited 23 minutes for nothing. I came in the following week to have my hair done. After she started she informed me there were no extensions once again. She was rude and said I needed to tell her what I wanted. I pulled up and old text from the august asking for her to order. I have never in the last year had to tell her what I needed. She is supposed to be the professional and know what is needed as far as the weight of them and length. I am not knowledgeable of what my hair is able to handle. I can safely say I will never be back.

I just had the most amazing salon experience EVER! I was a walk in… immediately addressed and instantly felt welcome. Kathy squeezed me in for a single process color. We had a great conversation. She is so laid back, personable and down to earth. The salon is so beautiful and funky. I can not wait to make my next appointment!

I walked in The Strand feeling lost (there is not a reception desk upfront and it was my first time there). Within 15 seconds some one came to greet me, take my coat, offer food and drink, and said Cheryl will be with me shortly. I felt comfortable and waited just a few minutes. I got my hair dyed by Cheryl. My hair had dark brown roots and trying to be blond with pink on bottom. I wanted a solid platinum blond. She was confident and said she thinks she can get me platinum today. After she started dying my hair, I realized how difficult this would be to an inexperienced person. She had three different strengths of bleach for the difference colors if my hair. I’m so happy I went to her. Cheryl is a hair aritst! I will go back in two weeks for a second lightening and hair cut. I will post a below before and after. I’m so happy. I highly recommend this place and Cheryl.

This was my first time at this shop and I had an awesome experience! Saige was my devacut specialist for my daughter and I. Saige did an amazing job after I had a bad haircut! I love my cut, it’s exactly what i wanted! Saige was very informative, gave good advice, she also let me know everything that she was doing and using before she just snipped away! This was my daughter first devacut and she loved it, she keeps talking about how beautiful she look with her new devacut. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. I definitely will return and recommend.
