If I could give this a minus -1, I would. I had a horrible experience. Luz seemed to be at a loss with the cut I requested ( with photo). I specifically asked for attention to getting my pixie cut even on both sides. Nope didn’t happen. She took 25 minutes to blow dry my short baby fine hair. Plus she used the largest brush possible. My hair was staning out on end! Then she hyperfocused on thinning the right side only to neglect the left side, which I pointed out at the beginning.I couldn’t wait to get out of that chair, worst experience I’ve ever had. Plus no professionalism. No hello to the new client? I spend a lot of money on hair cuts and highlights but it won’t be here. I’ve been a hair model in NYC and have worked in a PA salon (not cutting though) I’ve been around salons all my life. This lady would benefit from classes on technique. She does have potential. I guess she tried.

Worst experience ever. Luz was not clean. She was aggressive in selling Jesus to me. She made it very awkward to be there. After my color was done she said her sister was gonna shampoo my hair while she was working next door in the nail salon. Luz left the store to get her sister. Overall unprofessional, unhygienic and unpleasant. I’m giving it one star because she did a good job blow drying my daughters hair. After which she was tired and couldn’t shampoo my hair. I asked her to rinse out the color from my hair. But she insisted she would shampoo my hair. Which she did but I was so aggravated at this point, I just left with my hair dripping wet. She amount she charged was not acceptable either. First and last time going to the salon.

Sadly, that’s my first negative review in my life . I am very disappointed with my haircut . When I returned home , straightened out my hair, I noticed uneven length and there were multiple layers in the front . The next day I returned to the salon to get my hair fixed. Luz apologized, fixed it, and I was happy with the results. Once I got home, however, I noticed very obvious layers in the back that I was not able to see. I think it looks horrible ;( I am disappointed and sad as the hairdresser didn’t fix what was very noticeable . I was left with horrible haircut not realizing this ;( I really didn’t want to write this review , that’s why I sent an email two days ago but with no response. Just be careful .☹️

Luz is absolutely WONDERFUL. Not only is she an AMAZING colorist, and cut/style expert, but her exquisite personality makes the whole experience wonderful…I really appreciate what she did for me. Someone else had basically destroyed my hair, and she repaired it with beautiful color, and the perfect cut for me. Having to go much shorter than I wanted, to repair damage from someone else, she totally changed my mind about a shorter style for me, in general- I LOVE IT! Thank you, to this amazing professional!

The stylist was prompt and courteous and made sure she knew exactly what my little lady wanted- and she got to work almost immediately, even though we were early. She was beyond patient with my wiggly girl, and the cut came out very nice! She also braided and curled my daughter’s hair afterwards. The price was extremely reasonable. The stylist was prompt and courteous and made sure she knew exactly what my little lady wanted- and she got to work almost immediately, even though we were early.
