I’ve been coming here to get my hair trimmed since we moved from the city almost two years ago now and I couldn’t be happier with the service. I have stick straight, long hair that I’m currently growing out and tending to as though it’s an infant because I’m getting married this summer. Trusting someone to cut your hair is not the easiest thing to do yet at The Station For Hair, not only has this been made easy for me but also has given me great confidence to realize I found exactly what I’m looking for in hair care, quality service and customer satisfaction. What’s even made it a great selection for me is the friendly and personal attention given to me with each visit. And not just for me-I witness this is how they treat all their customers during my visits all the time. Each staff member caters in detail from welcoming inside, recommending appointments, products, to offering me coffee, tea, water, etc., and it’s genuine-real people who care about you, making you comfortable, caring how your feel. I wandered in on a fluke, and was blown away by the friendliness of all the staff and the attempt to accommodate my wish for an appointment that day. I had to schedule for the next week in order to have Judy, who is the Curly Hair Queen! She did an amazing job on my mop, and helped me get the products that I needed to recreate the curl-without-frizz on my own. Best of all, no pressure to buy–just suggestions that were reasonable and on target. I scheduled my next haircut right there and then, so that I would be sure of an appointment when I needed it. Great place–I highly recommend it!

The Station For Hair gets five stars! Leslie is great at both color and cut. The rest of the staff is friendly and professional. The overall feeling of the salon is very relaxing. And it’s conveniently located right across from where I work, Beach West Realty, in the heart of the west end of Long Beach. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’m a curly girl, and they really get me (it doesn’t hurt that Judy, the owner, is a curly girl herself). Plus, it’s a pleasure to be there – everyone is very friendly and very down-to-earth. No salon snobbery here! I highly recommend The Station.

My experience at The Station For Hair was nothing short of spectacular! I had a hair “mishap” and was miserable for a month – Christine was a doll, and told me she would “fix” the mishap but I would have to wait a month. It was the longest month of my life lol, but I went yesterday and left like my old, happy, blonde self. Even better in fact – she worked long and hard and made sure I was content when I left the salon. Meeting Judy and the other girls was a bonus!
