This place is called the Standard not because Collette tries to meet the standard, but because she is setting a new standard. Collette is one of the few business people I’ve ever run across that I can legitimately say “if you’re not satisfied, she’s not satisfied.” I asked her for a particular haircut, and when it was done I asked if we could do the sides shorter. She told me doing so would change the haircut into a different style, and I told her that if that was the case, then I’m ok with the length and keep it as it is. She told me that if I could find a picture of it, I should bring it in and she’d sit me down and complete the cut for free. That was such a generous offer that I was floored. BTW, I’m super happy with the haircut! It’s one of the best I’ve ever gotten. Her attention to detail, my (mediocre) description, and hair type was excellent. Thanks Collette!
