Great place for a haircut, moved to Bakersfield and made this my barbershop. My son and I get our cut with Rene. Quick cut and leaves you looking your best while having great conversations. They have an app for appointments ($30) but walk-ins are $20. I haven’t tried any other barber in the shop but any person I’ve seen walk in there leaves happy.

Worst Service I’ve ever had, I walked in at 5:30 on Wednesday only to be turned down, when their front door clearly says it closes at 6 and walk-ins are welcome. Please explain how that makes any freaking sense? Put a sign that explains that if you’re going to be petty. Fast forward to Friday I had an appointment at 5:30 this time and waited 45min. and still nothing. The barber or any of its petty staff did not approach anyone to see who was next. I left furiously mad. Walk-ins and Appointments are treated as if our personal time doesn’t matter, worst service hands down period. I’ll take my money’s worth elsewhere. I suggest you all do the same.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueBeing Thanksgiving I wasn’t expecting anywhere to be open. Rene was very professional in answering my questions over the phone and even made an exception to fit me in. They had shorter hours because of holiday. When I got there I had a minimal wait while he finished his other client. Once in the chair the professionalism continued. I have a skin condition where I have bumps on my head, face, and neck. Rene was aware of this and took his time to be careful. After the haircut was a great shave. He let me know what product he was using in case I was sensitive to it. He took his time making sure not to cut any of the bumps with the razor. Being Thanksgiving I wasn’t expecting anywhere to be open. Rene was very professional in answering my questions over the phone and even made an exception to fit me in.
