Let me start with the positive. My massage and my facial were both fantastic. The massage bed was amazing.

The spa was wonderful! Great services. Worth the price. Plus, they have the goodest boy Kitty (that’s his name) who is always down for some petting!

My wife and I reserved a couples massage at the St. Regis Spa in Aspen in November for a massage in February. It was difficult to get through to anyone to make the reservation, but ultimately my wife succeeded in getting through. We received a confirmation email and a follow up email about our upcoming “spa journey”. We show up 45 minutes early hoping to use the facility and they were unable to find our reservation. The “Director” of the facility was to busy to come and speak to us and the staff was dismissive. Worst experience for a supposed 5 star resort (supposedly the only 5 star resort in Aspen). At the very least they could provide customer service training for their staff. Aspen is a beautiful town and there are plenty of better options to choose from. Definitely not worth their exorbitant price tag.

I stayed with my boyfriend for a long weekend and have to say- the staff of this hotel are absolutely lovely humans. The spa especially had some of the most friendly staff I have experienced in Aspen. They are so accommodating, kind, and I felt they truly cared for me when I asked a million questions about the spa. They knew so much about Aspen, about spa treatments, and I could have stayed and talked to Victoria (I think that was her name) forever- I apologize if I got this wrong. She was blonde and so lovely and kind. When I was there I witnessed a hotel guest literally yelling at the other front desk agent of the spa- This surprised me and showed a level on entitlement I couldn’t believe- how could you possibly be so angry over a business in Aspen not having availability in the busiest time of the year because you failed to book ahead of time?

Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismWhile the massage was good the spa experience was a joke. When I arrived I was shown to the locker area and not given any guidance on the amenities included or where anything was. I had to stop and ask someone where I needed to go wait for my massage. I was also unable to use the hot tub area because no one told me I needed a swimsuit to enjoy that part of the spa. I honestly think they paid Travel and Leisure magazine to rate them as the world’s best hotel spa. I’ve only been to one other hotel spa, the Viceroy, and it is by far a true spa experience. At the Viceroy I felt welcomed and taken care of and it was so nice and updated. At the Remede I felt lost and not taken care of at all. They tried to make it right but I will not be returning. While the massage was good the spa experience was a joke. For the price and reputation of the St Regis, the experience was not worth it. I’ve been trying to connect with the spa for WEEKS to resolve an unknown charge on my account and no one has called me back. Absolutely horrible service. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Remede spa is the perfect self care sanctuary. When you book a service make sure you have plenty of time to allow for use of their steam room, gym, cold dunk tank, waterfall pool and oxygen bar.
