Great relaxing day that the spa. We had a massage later in the afternoon but arrived early to take in a relaxing day. Pool, hot tub, steam sauna, plus a place just to sit and relax. The staff were friendly and knew us by name. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful pools. We love the quiet pool. Menu is limited, but concessions were delicious and all the staff at the pool was very nice.

Had the best time here! What a beautiful place with kind people. I was completely satisfied with my seasonal pedicure. My family got massages and utilized the other facilities. We didn’t want to leave! Definitely coming back soon!

The pool and whirlpool are overchlorinated. The water temperature in both, however, was spot on. The towels felt crunchy and scratchy. The robes are old and heavy. That style hasn’t been changed since 2009. The staff in the pool area was friendly and attentive. The ones upstairs in the reception/store area not so much. There’s more of a frosty, snooty air up there. That also hasn’t changed since 2009.

Nice place, my massage started nice. And then ended weird. She spent the last 30 minutes massaging my foot. Didn’t massage my shoulders or chest. I had trouble understanding her. I should have spoke up, but I really didn’t think it would end at my foot.

Critical: ProfessionalismI am writing this review because my last experience with the Spa of Colonial Williamsburg was disappointing, and I do not want others to go through the same experience. I had a massage, and I have no complaints from that experience alone. Upon checking out, I presented a coupon that I received from CW resorts. I didn’t realize this at the time, but the wrong discount was applied. 12 hours after my appointment (well after working hours), I received an email noting that the wrong discount was applied, and the spa has already recharged me card for the correct (and greater) amount. I understand that the original transaction amount was incorrect. However, it is incredibly unprofessional to just recharge a credit card as you wish. I’ve never experienced this anywhere else, and I do not feel safe giving this place payment information.
