First time here. Came with my wife for a relaxing afternoon. And I will say the services we received were wonderful, and we certainly enjoyed them. My problem, however, was the woman at the front desk. Didn’t seem to know what was going on when we checked in. And when we paid, she clearly had an issue with the tip amount we left, and deliberately tried to make my wife look foolish for it. As someone who’s worked in the service industry his whole life, this type of behavior is completely unacceptable, as well as extremely rude and disrespectful. We plan on returning, hoping that the woman running the front desk learns better customer service skills.

I recently had a girl’s spa day at the beautiful Spa at Montchanin Village. When you first drive in, it feels like you are in a dream. We walked in the door and we were greeted by a lovely front desk attendant. She showed us around, brought us to the locker room and we got to put on our very warm comfortable robes. We all went in the rooms to begin our services, the therapists were the best I ever had. I highly recommend going to this spa, if you want to relax and feel like you are on cloud 9 than this is the place to be. Thank you for a wonderful experience and a great girl’s day!!

THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL spa EVER!!! I scheduled massages for my daughter and I a week ago and someone just called me yesterday to tell me there is only one spot instead of 2 that I scheduled. I called them back to discuss and the lady left me on hold and never came back on the phone. I had to call back and got another lady who seemed uncaring to what I had explained and honestly unphased at the situation. TODAY..(day of my appointment and exactly 2 hours from it) they left a voicemail stating their massage therapist child had no child care and they need to cancel our appointment. I know things happen but I feel this is just a cop out because they messed up the scheduling so bad..THIS IS NOT LUXURY, THIS IS NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE SPA. These woman that work there could care less and are EXTREMELY unprofessional! I will be contacting their management team about this behavior.

I can’t say enough about our experience at the Spa at Montchanin. Everyone at the spa took care of every detail and made all of us, and especially the bride/guest-of-honor, feel so special. I also want to give a shout out to the spa manager, Jennie, who could not have been any more lovely or professional. Planning this event from out-of-town could have been very stressful, but Jennie was delightful and made the entire process seamless. We are already trying to find an occasion when we can return!

This is my ‘go to place’ for my pedicures. Melody is fabulous. She takes her time and gives me star treatment every time! Needless to say, my feet are hardly seen in the winter but I appreciate the time Melody takes to assure that my feet are soft and beautiful. And the refreshments she offers aren’t bad either. Melody is a gem!

Came here on Friday 11/10/17 to get spa treatment. Hubby bought me $400 worth of Spa services. Amanda the manager said the appointment was for Saturday not Fri. ? Which was incorrect, My husband booked it for Friday my day off! He knew Saturday I would have been working. So, instead of the staff admitting they made an error in booking the appointment. They tried to blame the customer! Of course, they wanted to book me for next week. Unfortunately My birthday is the week. So, I ask for my money back. Which takes a few days to hit back on the card. The part that really pissed me off is the receptionist, tried to imply my husband was wrong and would not give me her name when I ask her? Unprofessional. Before I left I ask for the owner name. After I left, I called back and ask for the general manager contact info and she answered the phone. So, Yvonne you unprofessional front office worker, the next time you try to argue with me and then refuse to give me your name. Make sure you do not answer the phone! The real kicker is i brought my film equipment to video me getting service to post to my Facebook Groups. Well, the next product review segment will be about the service today! Business owners watch your doorman that can make your business or cost you to lose money.

This place claims to be a high end spa, while I got the worst massage ever possible. This establishment at least needs to check and hire people with some knowledge of massaging. All I got was oil and more oil rubbing on my back. Funny to say , I asked for firm intensity .
