I was so excited to have an European facial (this is the facial with extractions) at this spa that has so many good reviews and their website looks so nice and pleasant. when I arrived to the spa I felt very comfortable They gave me a tour, they treated me with a lot of professionalism, they have a waiting room with snacks and drinks. You feel pampered and well treated, the reason why I’m giving them 1 star is because starting from the moment they guided from the waiting room to do the facial, the lady only tried to garner money from me. She did an “analysis” and told me that my skin was dehydrated and that they could do me microdermabrasion for an additional $ 75 dollars, this was the first red flag… Then, she asked me if I drink enough water in the day (I drink more than 2 liters of water a day) and she said that the surface of my skin was dry. She tricked me and seduced me by putting on masks and giving me relaxing massages and suddenly the lady was like “we are done!” To which I replied “but I did not feel any extractions” and she answered “well what happened is that your skin is very rough and dry so it is better to work first on the surface of your skin” all disappointed I leave the room and this lady hands me a bottle of water and tells me “I know you drink more than 2 liters of water a day but drink this bottle of water” insinuating that I was lying to her when I told her that I drank more than 2 liters of water a day! After, she takes me to the store in the spa and tries to sell me almost everything they had there, but among the things she tried to sell me, there was a body scrub and she said to me “I touched your back honey and you need this” I remember i thought “I’m never coming back to this place again, they didn’t do what I asked for and now this lady is making condescending comments trying to sell me the whole spa” then the lady told me that If i was going to buy anything tell the cashier that it was her that showed me the products. the worst of all is that when I went to pay for my facial (because I didn’t buy all those products after their weasel behavior) they charged me for the European facial! when they should have charged me for a regular facial! And the receptionist asked out loud in front of the other people there if I wanted to tip the beautician, to which I had to say yes due to feeling peer pressured by the surrounding patrons now staring. It is a shame that I have received better facials in my home country country than “in the land of opportunities” where everything is advertised as “better”.

I haven’t been in a few years, but then. I loved the experience. I actually went to sleep while getting the massage. They use to give you big white robes and slippers. I felt like I was being pampered.

The Swedish massage experience was amazing! Request Amanda if possible! She was super kind and helped me to relax and reduced my stress levels tremendously! I also had the grotto experience and the best pedicure I’ve ever received. Perfect spot for relaxation and pampering. Thanks Merle Norman for a great experience!

I went there for the first time. The massage was amazing, very relaxing. Sarah did great. The atrium is well done with nice lounge chairs and snacks, tea available. The women’s locker room and shower area is very clean as well. Highly recommended for a massage for a wonderful experience.
