Went to The Emerald Grande Spa over this past weekend with a group of women for our 40th birthday celebrations. They accommodated all 5 of us at the same time with a pre-booked reservation. The spa area is lovely and clean. We were kindly and promptly greeted and given a tour of the space available. We enjoyed mimosas, a gorgeous ocean view and eucalyptus steam room in our robes prior to our massages & treatments. The staff were all very friendly and professional. My esthetician, Nicole, was fantastic. I got the seaweed detox and it was the best treatment I have ever received. My friends said their massages were the best ones they have ever received as well. They had pretty jewelry bracelets for sale in the lobby and complimentary cucumber, lemon water in the lounge. We could have ordered food if desired. We weren’t able to enjoy their private balcony because of a private bridal party but the spa was large enough that we had other relaxing areas to enjoy during our time there. We can’t wait to come back!

Worst customer service ever!! I booked a massage over the phone, wasn’t informed about the cancellation policy until I called to cancel, then the girl was SO rude and snobby – she even hung up in my face!! After all the rudeness, she charged me for the massage that I never received. I emailed the spa director and never heard back from her. This experience was horrible!!! I was treated horribly & paid $150 for absolutely nothing.

Worst mani pedi of my life, took off the entire top layer of skin on my toes with filing, 0/0 would recommend. Uneven nails, not smooth, gel is already peeling.

Well what started out as an amazing experience turned into an awful one. This review in no way takes away from the amazing massage therapist and facial lady with that said I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service. Me and my daughter went in to celebrate my 50th birthday. We did not want a manicure but we were told there is a 24 hour cancellation rule so we were asked if we wanted to replace our manicure with a body scrub so we said okay. When we were dike with the body scrub we went to the waiting area. An hour went by we thought we were forgotten so we asked another member of the staff about our pedicure a half hour went by so we asked again then another member of the staff came in who was not privy to the conversation came in and said that was never said saying the price for the scrub was the same as the medi/pedi (not sure how we were supposed to know since we don’t work there) she then threatened to call security because we were voicing our concerns and somehow the manager was unreachable and in meetings. So sad locals are treated that way. Visitors be aware!

Total DISAPPOINTMENT. I am a local and took my mom (also a local) because my friend gifted me a $120 gift card for my birthday. I booked us both $58 pedicures. They charged my mom an extra $15 for gel REMOVAL then did not even have gel colors to repaint her toes in gel after her pedicure, so she left with toes unpainted and worse than she arrived. I got charged an extra $15 for gel paint, at least my nail teach did have the gel colors to paint, but the paint should clearly be included in the $58 amount. So all in all I had to pay an extra $60 after the $120 gift card for just two pedicures and my mom still had to go visit our regular nail salon in Destin after the fact to get toes repainted in gel! Everyone knows that lives/visits the beach, only gel holds up in the sand. This place is a total rip off and real disappointment. Go to the local nail salons in town instead for half the half price and 100% better satisfaction.

To be clear, my masseuse was amazing! We made last-minute appointment and my expectations were not super high, but hopeful. That said, Amy was incredible! She worked out some really tough spots and it was super relaxing. I gave it three stars however because while the place was great everything about it was really nice. When we went to check out they informed us that they had added 20% gratuity. If I would’ve known that upfront that would’ve been fine, however in my opinion gratuity is discretionary. That said I tend to tip on these services exponentially more. I still left her extra because I felt that she deserved it, but it definitely left a bad taste in our mouth after what was a great experience. I would highly rethink this policy because I’m afraid it could very well be to the detriment of your employees. If people are not tipping adequately, I would indicate on the website or somewhere that you add a tip.

My daughter brought me here for a mother/daughter spa day. It was very lovely and I must say that I enjoyed myself thoroughly. We signed in and we were seen right away. The massage therapist asked us what type of massage we wanted and also what kind of pressure I wanted. We were able to undress and get into these fluffy white robes. Afterwards we were able to shower and go in a day room which was very nice. They served tea and cold lemonade. And they had a nice view of the pool. We will definitely come back.

Was really looking forward to our couple massage/spa day but I felt like this spa didn’t accommodate to couples as well as I thought it would. We only had a balcony and tiny dry sauna to spend time together at, all the other amenities required us to not be together (snacks, steam room). Then we looked forward to our couples massage which was also not that great. I requested the deep tissue/sport massage and both of us felt like they were too gentle, even after requesting more pressure. Staff was very friendly but I am not planning to recommend this spa anytime soon.
