Red light therapy
Red light interacts with the body in a similar way to infrared light – This it thought to involve a few mechanisms including by increasing energy (ATP) generation on the cellular level.The key difference between red and infrared is that red wavelengths of light are absorbed and used in the first 25mm of skin tissue, whereas infrared light can penetrate much deeper into the body.This same mechanism is also responsible for many of the benefits of sunlight, which contains the red wavelengths as part of its spectrum. Sunlight however, comes bundled with potentially harmful UV (and potentially beneficial) & blue light, making red light therapy different in various respects.Most red light devices on the market are weak and will only penetrate 2 – 3mm of skin tissue. Stronger devices such as 100mW/cm²+ LED light devices can reach through the entire skin layer, healing from the bottom up.

The owner Nick does a fantastic job of keeping the (huge) facility clean and all the bulbs fresh! The girls who work here are super friendly and knowledgeable about the equipment and always clean down the equipment between customers! Visiting from New York I googled tanning salons in the area and stumbled across this amazing place. I knew it closed at 5 on Sundays from the website and tried getting there as early as possible. I walked through the door at 10 to 5. The friendly girl behind the counter explained to me that the last tan is at 445, but still let me tan. She was extremely knowledgeable about the beds and lotions she had to offer. It was a bit pricey from what I’m used too, I spent just below $70 for one tan, but I did a level 6 bed with a great pack of lotion. I quickly tanned and cannot wait to go back. I have a beautiful bronze color from one session!! In the past year I’ve only tanned one other time a few months ago. Definitely a great clean place if you want a nice tan

This place is great! Not sure what’s with the bad reviews. Super clean lots of beds never had to wait, and I love the spray tanning machine. I’m very pale and the light setting has worked great for me multiple times including for my wedding. Highly recommend!

I started going here to help get tan for my wedding. I am not someone who tans regularly and I know nothing. The staff was so helpful and they helped me pick out the perfect package and they give me advice every time I come in. I totally recommend coming here. The only thing is I am not a huge fan of their weekend hours. I work retail and it’s impossible for me to come in between 10 and 6 on a Saturday. I hope they will change this

Would totally give this place five stars based on cleanliness, friendliness, and a knowledgable staff. However, based on my experience with the Versa Spa spray tan and the outcome, Im writing just for feedback on that service. I woke up extremely spotty, and not big blotchy spots.. Almost as if the sprayer was not spraying a fine enough mist. I did feel like the solution coming out of the nozels was a bit heavy and uneven but I figured maybe it was just in my head. Unfortunately I’m going to have to spend a bunch of time scrubbing. I was really looking forward to using this machine, but I do have to say I think the mystic tan (based on this experience) is much better. With all of the above being said, the employee that was working at the desk when I went in yesterday was so beyond helpful. She took her time explaining every step of the process with the Versa machine and physically showed me how to stand. She was extremely friendly and knowledgable. Keep up the good customer service! I’ll be back for sure, just not for the spray tan.
