Today was my second visit at the Skincare Studio. My first time I had a pleasant experience and an amazing treatment with Terri. I spent hundreds of dollars on the products that she recommended, and so far they have been working. Unfortunately I had a negative experience today for my second visit .I had the wrong appointment time written down in my calendar and showed up thinking I was on time, but my appointment had passed. Skyler, the receptionist made it a point to tell me that my card was charged the full price for treatment, and would not be refunded or used towards my next appointment, although this was one honest mistake on my part. I asked to speak with Terri the owner and she never even came out to have a conversation with me. I tried to reach out to Terri privately and she has not responded. Lastly, Skyler insists on calling me “girlfriend” or “Ms. Girl”. She is a young Caucasian lady. I am a Black woman that finds this to be disrespectful and condescending.I am not sure where she learned that talking to women in a professional setting like this is ok, but she needs to be taught to address women by their first name. I did not want to write this review but was extremely disappointed with the way this was handled today.

Terri is professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about skin care and skin health. Terri has been my esthetician for the past 2 years and I will not trust anyone else to care for my face. Terri follows up after each treatment to check on my progress. She is available for questions and also addresses any concerns with patience and great care. The atmosphere and energy in The Skincare Studio is serene and relaxing. I cannot say enough about this wonderful human!
