I’ve been meaning to write a review for the Skin Center. I’ve been going there for over 2 years and I am extremely happy with the services and staff. Everyone is friendly and professional, and the facility is clean and well cared for. I feel listened to and that any concerns and questions I have are addressed and fully answered. I always see Amanda and she is fabulous. Both her knowledge about the procedures and skincare in general are outstanding. Yes, some of the procedures can be on the pricier side, but they run a lot of deals, and as the saying goes – you get what you pay for! Thank you so much to Amanda and the wonderful staff at the Skin Center. I’m so happy I found them!

I do not recommend for Lazer hair removal. I paid for a Brazilian – the area that was done was literally what would show in a bikini. It is not cheap, however, I decided to do it. Very disappointed.Went to a different business and could not be happier!

The entire staff is amazing! They are so welcoming and thorough with whatever procedure you may need. Dr. Barnes is awesome and makes you feel so comfortable with her expert advice and Amanda gives excellent consultations for services you may want so you thoroughly understand what any procedure entails and if you are a good fit for it. Kelly is amazing! She is so kind, honest, and so fun to talk too, she goes out of her way to make you feel overly comfortable! I adore her. Last but certainly not least Dee always greets you with a smile and she is also so warm, welcoming and knowledgeable of so many questions I have asked while waiting never more than 5 minutes to get in for my appointment. I recommend them to everyone! They are a fabulous group of women! I would give them a million star review if I could!

I went to The Skin Center at Southgate Medical Center upon the recommendation of a friend for permanent removal of unwanted hair. The staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The nurse who treated me was the very same and put me completely at ease through the entire process. And now I could not be happier with the results. I no longer have to worry about making time to shave before I get dressed to go out in a sleeveless dress or a day at the beach. I feel very comfortable Giving the Skin Center at Southgate Medical group my highest recommendation.

I had the coolsculpting procedure done on my thighs; Very expensive with little to no results – about an 1/8 of an inch difference on one thigh in photos; no difference on the other thigh. That was disappointing but not as disappointing as the staffs “oh, well” attitude. In good faith I cant recommend this procedure to anyone.

Beware people! That waver you sign prior to any facial service could cost you much more than a beauty treatment. I got a fungal infection after a few laser treatments. The staff kept treating the effected areas. I have been through two years of hell trying to treat this and am completely miserable. A fungal infection is extremely hard to diagnose and treat! This has affected my entire quality of life. BEWARE.
