This is a story about 5 talented stylists… In 2010, five stylists named Donna, Delene, Lisa, Andy and Patrick came up with the concept of The SideDoor Salon. These like-minded artists wanted to create a space where independent stylists could debut their art. Here, the value placed on creativity is rivaled only by the importance placed on professionalism. The owners come from varied personal and professional backgrounds thus making The SideDoor Salon a collective collage of artistic talent.

I had an appointment last Friday with Madison and it was one of the best haircuts of my life. My hair looks healthier than it ever has before and she styled it so beautifully as well. Aside from the amazing job Madison did treating my damaged hair and accommodating all of the little details that I usually am nervous to ask my hair dresser to do (she allowed me to part my own hair, etc.) Madison was so kind, fun, and interesting. 100% recommend Madison to be your hairdresser and will definitely be coming back.

Nicole did a fabulous job with my cut and highlights. The front of my hair is a natural ash/grey and the back is still naturally brown – a bit of a weird look. I love the ashy gray so Nicole beautifully blended highlights into the rest of my hair and it looks wonderful. She also cut a few inches off and gave me some sassy new waves. Definitely going back to Nicole!

I had the most fantastic experience going copper with Jason! His expertise in the realm of hair far surpasses any hairstylists I have ever been to, and I have genuinely never been so pleased with a color or haircut. He completely transformed my hair and managed to do so while also keeping it extremely healthy. I usually dislike going to new hairstylists because the moment they see such dark hair that has already been color treated they don’t have much faith in it getting very light, or have a tendency to use a very high developer. Jason actually had confidence in what we could achieve, and was able to give me exactly what I was going for, and even worked together with his partner Madison to ensure the most efficient applications and price. I am so appreciative of the salon as a whole as well because everyone is educated on hair and can help you to find the perfect regimen without overdoing it with products. Overall this is by far my best experience ever at a hair salon, and I will be making Jason my new go to stylist!

I have been seeing Jason for my hair cut and styling since he started here ( I followed him from another salon). He is very skilled and experienced and gives me the best haircuts. He also is a very interesting conversationalist! My haircut is often done too soon – We have to resume our philosophical discussion at the next appointment!
