I knew my first “covid-cut” would be here (and I was getting desperate!!!), but I was nervous to visit a salon after so much careful quarantining. My fears were immediately assuaged by the diligent & thoughtful protocols Robert & team have enacted. I was completely comfortable the whole time I was in the salon & left feeling safe, pampered & beautiful.Why I love this salon:1. The vibe is on point- the space is airy & light, clean & comfortable. I would choose to lounge in this space, even without receiving a service.2. Robert is a perfectionist & everything he does is of the highest care & quality! Every moment of your experience in the salon is considered without being fussy- from the space layout, to the products used, to the equipment (sinks, dryers, etc), down to little details like beverages offered (sensibly- not during covid.) Start to finish, every visit to the salon is an utter delight.3. The location is great, parking is abundant & AC transit accessible.Why I love Ari as a stylist:Ari is extremely skilled, and has a great ability to integrate her broad experience with the desires of her clients. She is consistent, meticulous, and produces great results.1. She gets me!I want to look good, but I am lazy!!! I need a low maintenance cut that looks great daily & can be styled up when the mood strikes me. Ari’s consultation was easy and friendly, and she quickly understood what I wanted, and how it could be executed with my particular hair (texture, quantity, density, etc).2. She is the best communicator!Ari sets impeccable expectations! We have all left salons feeling shocked or disappointed by our style. Ari won’t let that happen.I am a challenging client. I say “I don’t know what I want, can you just make me look good?” Ari can ask a few questions & then take charge and I leave happy with a perfect cut & color.or (presents inspo pic of some model who had a team of 12 styling her hair for 6 hours before the shoot), “I want this, but I don’t want to have to style it” Ari can graciously & tactfully tell me no, I can’t have Beyonce’s look without a lot of styling effort, and even if I wanted to put in the effort, at home the result is unlikely to match my hope. I need to hear that! Then we discuss further, and I end up learning how to use a curling iron & feeling empowered, gorgeous & capable.3. She is technically skilled!Ari is just good at hair! It feels like magic, the way she can understand how to sculpt your particular type of hair, but really it is her broad experience that she uses to carefully craft your style. I love visiting The Salon & being styled by Ari! I knew my first “covid-cut” would be here (and I was getting desperate!!!), but I was nervous to visit a salon after so much careful quarantining. My fears were immediately assuaged by the diligent & thoughtful protocols Robert & team have enacted. During the past few days I’ve been thinking about what I wanted to say and how do I would express my gratitude towards Enrique. I don’t think that I can explain the magnitude of how my interaction with him has changed my perspective of myself without sharing the back story.Story time: Dec 2019 I went to North Carolina to visit my family and drove by a salon who has always been busy. I lived in North Carolina for a decade and they were ALWAYS busy. So, I decided “what the heck” I will just see if they can see me. So I walked in told them, “Hey I’m from California I wanted to see if you guys had the time to do my hair.” And they said “the only person available right now is the owner, let me see if she can do it” PERFECT, I thought. She’s the owner, if anyone cares about getting it done right it’s the owner. (I was wrong) So the owner came out and I explained to her that I wanted. She said ok, I explained to her, I do not want blonde. I like my dark hair and want it just a little lighter (the ends). So the roots would be a medium dark brown and the ends would be a light ash brown. Again, brown not blonde. NOT BLONDE. I said that to her so many times. She started to bleach my hair and I thought that maybe my hair was too dark and that medium ash Brown would not take. So, I questioned it and asked her “just to make sure you’re doing Brown, not blonde- right” she confirmed the brown not blonde. So, I took her word for it. She is to expert. I am not. I work in banking, very very different worlds. She finished, and I was at a loss for words, my ends were blonde… I tried to stay positive and said, “that’s not what I asked for… but… I guess change never hurt anyone.” I didn’t realize how bothered I was by my hair color until Enrique was done with my hair. I wanted to cry because I was so happy. I felt like me again. I was going to write a short review just sharing how amazing Enrique is and let you judge his work with two pics ( Before & After) HOWEVER, I realized that I didn’t have any before pictures. That was the moment that I realized I hated my hair, not dislike BUT hate. I hadn’t taken any pictures for almost two year. Now, I feel confident, beautiful, and like myself again. I was so happy, I made an appointment for my mom.If you are looking for great customer service, knowledgeable team members, and to feel welcomed… this is your salon. I’m updating from 3 to 5 stars because when Robert saw that I wasn’t totally satisfied with my haircut, he offered for me to come in so he could fix it free of charge, and he did a fantastic job! I’m updating from 3 to 5 stars because when Robert saw that I wasn’t totally satisfied with my haircut, he offered for me to come in so he could fix it free of charge, and he did a fantastic job! The before haircut wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t working for my hair type when it naturally dried.

Positive: QualityHaircut with Kelli. THE BEST haircut I’ve had since the days of Vidal Sasson!! She understood what I wanted then counseled me on what she felt needed to be done to achieve the effect and look and then executed the cut perfectly..I am beyond pleased. She’s a magician. I highly recommend this salon and especially Kelli!
