Jen at The Salon (6800 Central Ave.) cuts hair better than anyone I have ever seen. I have long hair and odd waves just in places. This makes my hair difficult to cut evenly, and all my life I have had issues finding people skilled enough to style it well. Jen is like a miracle worker, and I am very picky. She’s just incredibly talented. My husband has multiple cowlicks, so he has always had trouble too. Jen gives him the best haircuts he’s ever had. I don’t usually bother writing online reviews, but my whole family is grateful to Jen. She’s kind, professional, and just unquestionably the best at what she does! If you have “difficult” hair, this is the place & the person you can trust!

Not a good experience. Faryal promised me the groupon rate without purchasing the groupon and the rate of the day of my haircut was $13 and she charged me the normal groupon rate of $19 plus an additional $5 dollars for long hair. I explained the groupon was 13 that day and she acted like she didn’t know and said she can do $20. I didn’t argue but that’s wrong and she overcharged me! I could have bought the groupon and paid less even with the extra charge for long hair!! There shouldn’t be a any bairgaining on her end,she wasn’t even that friendly, and took way more inches off than necassary…not going back for sure!
