I love love love my hair. Wish I could give 10 stars. Visited the salon yesterday. Very Professional service. Atmosphere was welcoming. Did not wait long. Wakeelah colored and cut my hair and she did an amazing job. I’ve been getting a lot of compliments. Wakeelah is a stylist that does it all. and goes above and beyond to ensure customers are 100% satisfied. I know that I’m going to be returning.

I have been Blessed to sit in the chair of Miss Wakeelah, and let her work her magic on my hair. I have been there twice and each time it has always been a professional and safe experience. Her assistant is great as well. It is definitely a positive atmosphere.

I’ve been going to The Room and Wakeelah for a little over 5 years and have no problem referring clients to her or Halimah. Tasha gets me in even when I call last minute and I’m always asked where I get hair done after. I go to the queens to get my crown and they are worth the money spent.

Halimah has a bad attitude and vibe. I will never recommend her and she is not talented. She needs to go back to hair school if she ever went in the first place. Very nasty attitude for someone who can’t do hair. Seems bi polar and miserable. The owner is very nice. Halimah will kill your business. You need to make her the shampoo girl. She’s definitely not a sytlist.

They talk to much, loud and not focus. they ALL stay on their phone and tablet. shop wasnt full but people was still waiting to be Assisted because they weren’t focused. no one should be Erable in a empty salon. A 3.5 hrs hairstyle turned into 7 hrs in a empty salon. braiding girl smoke stank nasty cigarettes right in front of the door so the heavy smoke blows right into the shop btw she smokes back to back.
