I got my eyebrows waxed and they turned out very nice. Lisandra did my nails and I can not praise her enough. She took her time with them and went above and beyond what I showed her. This place is absolutely wonderful! They were able to get me an appointment last minute. They were very sweet the entire time. I got my eyebrows waxed and they turned out very nice. Lisandra did my nails and I can not praise her enough. She took her time with them and went above and beyond what I showed her. Even though it was a late evening she was not rushing and was sweet. As a resident of Key Largo I have tried every nail salon. I found the Room Nail Bar thru a friend and was very impressed. I like to be able to make my appointments according to my schedule and not when someone is going to be open. Their hours are well planned and they typically stay on time so I do not have to waste time waiting. I met Ruth a few months ago and have been going to her religiously every two weeks. The best part is that my nail polish last from one appointment to the next I do not have chipped gel nail polish two days after I had a manicure and she is always very pleasing and courteous. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

I moved to the Keys a year and a half ago leaving behind all my regular hair and nail services across the 18 mile stretch in Miami. I thought I would be making the drive back every few weeks but became too rooted in paradise. I was delighted to find this cute little nook called the The Room Nail Bar and found much more than nail professionals. Starting with the owner, Maria, her sweet mom, the amazing nail experts; Liz, Ruth, Sam, Nayelis, Yailin, Griselle, Jess, all of them make you feel at home in their unique ways. Booking is super easy online. If you need to make a last minute change, Maria will always try to work with you to accommodate you, even if last minute you add one, two, or even three friends to your appointment. She allowed me to put up decorations for my niece’s bridal party mani/pedi day and created an environment where everyone felt pampered and special. This tiny spot (next to the original Mrs. Macs) is the place to sit and unwind in a ‘not your average’ nail salon. Sip some wine or a cappuccino, meet locals, and get the ‘in’ on where to go in town. Sam has been here all her life and knows everyone! So, if you are new to the Keys, just passing through, or an original Conch, be sure to try The Room Nail Bar…..be sure to book in advance and enjoy!

Key Largo has a lot to offer but as far as nail salons there’s only a few options and you just can’t go wrong with the Room Nail Bar. I was visiting from Texas on Labor Day. I was so happy they were open. The two Latina technicians were absolutely wonderful, welcoming, and professional. I had a gel manicure and they did a damn good job. I wish I was closer to have my nails done by them again. 100% recommend!

So underwhelmed by this place. The chairs you sit in for pedicures aren’t massage chairs and that is one of my favorite parts (although if they actually did a good pedicure, I wouldn’t have cared). The lady did the absolute bare minimum on both my hands and my feet. Getting your nails done is supposed to be relaxing and feel good and this really didn’t. I’m giving three stars because she did slightly redeem herself with a cute nail design and another woman offered wine. But overall, not satisfied and will likely go elsewhere next time I want my nails done.

On 8/11I went to The Room Nails for my nails for my engagement nails which did come out beautifully. Ruth did my nails. However, the experience was horrible and nerve wrecking. I made an appointment 5 weeks out knowing I’d be getting my nails done the day of my photos, so I wanted to be sure I’d have time. I was told I couldn’t come in earlier, although they were aware I was traveling from 2 hours away. I was 50 minutes early so I understood. I went to drop of my bags at the hotel and was 10 minutes late and they said they were gonna cancel my appointment. My appointment slot was 3 hours booked and I did notify them. I walked in a panic, no one greeted me, the lady at the front was not warm and had a major attitude with me. All she kept saying was you are late and Ruth is busy and you won’t be seen now and even texted me that too. I was so nervous and scared I wouldn’t have my nails done and as my first experience for this big of an event was a terrible experience. Everyone in the store made me feel so horrible for being 10 minutes late to a 3 hour appointment, when I initially tried to come in earlier cause I’m out of town. This is suppose to be a special day and they made me almost cry out of stress. The nails came out beautiful but not worth the stress and treatment. Brides be aware!

I recently started looking for another nail salon after my salon in Key Largo went downhill. I’m so glad I did because I have found an even better place to give my money to. Ruth is the best. I won’t go anywhere else now. She’s patient and kind and is never rude to me unlike the other salon. I have yet to explore the other services but I am loving the fills I have received here.
