Positive: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismI wasn’t going to leave a poor review but after a couple months, I am still frustrated so I have to.The first time I went here the service was adequate. I was happy with my cut, nothing fancy, but it did the job. The second time I went in, the hair dresser that did my cut completely destroyed my hair. It was so choppy, the sides weren’t even at all and she didn’t follow the example pictures I gave her to follow. We had talked about what I wanted beforehand and she said that she could do it. She did not do it. She curled it to the point that I couldn’t tell it was that bad until I got home, showered and dried it. I called back to ask if an experienced hair dresser could fix it, but I had to wait 2 days to get it fixed. The owner attempted to fix it but she still didn’t fix it. The owner is nice enough but I will not be going back to this facility. Critical: QualityI asked for highlights and lowlights, which is what I went into the salon with. The roots are not colored. Now I have many shades. The gray is not covered. I have 2 different colors on the same strand of hair. I paid $240, including tip. I have naturally curly hair so I didn’t realize the problems until I straightened my hair.*I spoke to the manager about the service I received. He immediately made me a new appointment with a different stylist. I’m from out of town and came to visit my daughter. I wanted to get my hair cut & she got me an appointment with Anna. She did a great job of cutting my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted & she did a really great job. She’s very friendly & helpful with questions about your hair issues. I would definitely go back to her again. Anna Smallwood is great!!!

I wish I didn’t have to leave a negative review however the girl who cut my hair did such a bad job, I need to get it out there. I don’t want to write her name but the salon can look up mine and my appointment to figure it out. They got me in super quick because they had a no show. I desperately needed a trim. I asked for 1-2 inches off, layers and to reshape my curtain bangs. My curtain bangs were starting around the bottom of my nose. She cut my bangs straight across at my eyes. I have NO clue why . She did this at the end. She cut my hair so bluntly and crooked. I’ve been crying since having it done because it’s so so bad. I didn’t want 3 inches off and the cut looks like something my 4 year old could do better. I was already stressed out and honestly after she curled it, it didn’t look too bad. I thought I could live with it and move on. Im still just reeling with how bad she did. No I am not asking for money back or anything. I just want the salon to see this and look into the stylist. She was very passive and cold. Not a great experience at all.

I asked for long layers and a blowout from Amber and instead she just trimmed my hair and curled it. Amber doesn’t know how to communicate with her clients and seems like she doesn’t know how to cut hair. Haircut

I love coming to Rain Tree because these ladies know how to treat you from the moment you walk through the door. Would I like a coffee? Yes please! I went to 2 other salons in the Murfreesboro area before finally finding Rain Tree and a lot of it has to do with my fantastic hairstylist Bre. She is amazing!! Not only do I come out with beautiful blonde highlights that are that perfect ashy color but she also gives the best head massage during my shampoo. From the service to the prices, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you Rain Tree!

She was able to turn-around the outgrowth of a previously bad haircut. I now have a nice haircut that fits me. She also did the brow wax which was a bonus.
