This place was awesome! the atmosphere is great they make you feel like one big happy funny family ♥️, they even offered me food and snacks . Ray did my hair and she did an amazing job! It is with great sadness that I have to write this review. I really wanted to stay a customer here but can no longer. Ive been coming here every 2 weeks for the past 8 weeks. Each time I’ve set an appointment, however, not including my initial appointment, have I ever been seated on time. A time both my stylist and I agreed to the prior 2 weeks. I recently had an appointment and about an hr and 40 mins into my arrival I finally got my hair washed. I then had to wait some additional time before actually getting my retwist done. At no point while waiting was I told what was going on, how long it would be, an apology, etc. I was just left to sit there. I understand it’s the Holiday season and things pick up but that’s why I do appointments but at this point, the way things are ran, appointments mean nothing/are useless. I wouldn’t even have minded a phone call prior to my appointment to let me know to come in later or something. So between the poor time management and lack of communication I can no longer be a patron. I was there 3.5 hrs but only had 1.5 hr of time actually in the stylist chair (wash, retwist, dry). I’ve also come to realize that the quality of my locs were subpar. It is a shame because they are affordable but it’s at the point that I’d rather pay extra for that little bit of customer service/atmosphere this place doesn’t offer. I was so frustrated during this visit I was on the verge of tears.
