Have been a handful of times now and every time I am impressed. These guys get it and do a great job. They really take their time with you and focus on the details. Jarret and Albert are the absolute best in the game hands down bar none. I’ve been going to these guys for over 2 years now and they give me fire haircuts every single time. Each haircut usually last an hour and they put in so much effort to make sure they get every detail right with the hair, the fade, the part, the beard and the hot/cold towel service. The first time I got my hair cut by Jarret he suggested different styles that suit my head shape and beard length and let me pick one and absolutely killed it. Every time I come in, I can ask these guys what’s going to work best for me and they’re able to let me know and deliver. They’re also good natured people who truly care about their customers and put in time getting to know them. Every time I come in, they remember me and all the details with what I usually get. The place is also clean, has different drinks and the vibe is on point. Cant recommend Jarret and Albert enough. Definitely check them out if you want the best cut in the Santa Monica/Marina/Venice area!

I came upon this shop by accident, but so glad I did. It’s a clean, modern space and with their appointment service, you never have to wait. You’re greeted with an option for water or a more sophisticated beverage, and Albert genuinely listens to you. Because he’s well-trained and experienced, it’s more of a consultation, and he also offers suggestions to give you the best cut. Albert is friendly and easy to talk to and goes the extra mile with his services. The vibe is chill and the music selection is eclectic; I always feel like I went to a cool daytime club. If you’re looking for attentive, quality grooming and care services on the Westside, I can’t recommend them enough.

I’ve been here a few times now and have exclusively had good experiences. The barbers take their time to understand what you want and make suggestions to deliver the best outcome. My last haircut with Dave really stood out – never had a barber that’s so knowledgeable. I have thinning hair and he insisted on a different style that was infinitely better than what I was doing before. Make sure you check him out!!

I loved the experience! Took my son for a haircut, that’s usually his dad’s domain so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I’ve been coming here for a while and Albert is great. He always takes his time to make sure everything looks good. The space is really cool too, they offer beer/water and always have some good music playing. Jarrett is great too, the whole crew there is friendly and does a really nice job. After a year and a half of trying to tame my own hair during the pandemic, I was finally frustrated enough to venture out to a barber shop. I am very glad I chose Presidential Parlor, because Dave was the most talented barber I’ve ever encountered. He was patient and flexible in helping me figure out how I wanted to sculpt my nappy, curly mop of hair. I couldn’t be happier with the results and will be a returning customer for as long as he’s at Presidential.

Came here because of the positive reviews, and my experience reflected them. Dave cut my hair and was extremely professional and attentive to detail. Great guy to talk to and seems quite dedicated to his craft. Coffee and water were an additional perk, although I think there were many other options. Fantastic experience!

I have curly hair which is difficult to cut and have had a lifetime of bad haircuts. This place is unreal. All the barbers are excellent. I get compliments on my haircuts, which has never happened before. Moreover, this place starts cutting hair at 7am, which is invaluable for me before going to work in a professional setting. I recommend this place to everyone.

Everyone is great but Jarett is my go to. The level of precision, detail, and care he puts into each cut is unmatched. Always walk out of here with a FIRE cut and boost in confidence. Tried other barber shops in the area but Presidential Parlour is seriously top notch.
