I booked the full moon facial with Megan at The Pointed Pearl after some much needed postpartum self-care. It was absolutely everything I was wanting, needing and so much more. She is so knowledgeable, passionate and helpful, not to mention talented at what she does. The massage that went along with the facial was delightful and I left feeling so much better. Her product choices are great too. I will be back to see her next month. Highly recommended.

Waxing doesn’t have to be painful, at least that’s what I heard. But until today, I’d never experienced it. Megan is an expert waxer and it’s probably because she’s put the time and energy into finding the best wax, and the best techniques, for offering a quality, pain-free experience. Today was my first time at her lovely space, and I know that I’ll be back. Megan herself is lovely and professional, and you get the feeling that she really cares about your experience. The salon is lovely, clean, and super inviting. I’m looking forward to trying some of her other services.,

First off – let’s just say Megan is a beautiful soul. Kind, sweet, funny, she taught me a great breathing technique when she waxed me. I’ve been getting waxed for some time now, and it’s the first time I was ever taught to not be so tense during the process. She is time efficient, and safe. The space is clean, beautiful, and she offers so many services. This was my first time receiving a facial, and I am blown away!!! Megan was extremely informative, attentive, and friendly. I had the “Desert Rain Facial” and there were so many parts involved that I cannot remember all of them – but know that it was relaxing, and my skin feels and looks amazing!!! the work Megan @thepointedpearlskincare does, truly felt like magic! This woman is the best! located in Yucca Valley. everyone needs to know… it was The Best spa experience I have ever had! I got a Brazilian wax and felt almost Zero pain! I’ve had many Brazilian waxes done but never like this. I’m not sore after at all. I’m not sure what she did to make it so easy and painless, but I will never go anywhere else Again. If you are thinking of getting a bikini wax, but scared of the pain, come here! I’ve been to many professionals but never anyone this good. I don’t even feel like I had the treatment.. painless. Normally, at other places it’s a bit stressful on the body but not with Megan. Usually waxing doesn’t feel like a relaxing”spa treatment” this one did! If you are in the Hi-Desert area and need some self-care time, this is the spot! The place smells amazing as soon as you walk in and has a chill ambience goin on. Everything you would hope for with a spa visit, the relaxing music and essential oils fill the air to help set the vibe. I can’t say enough good things about the atmosphere & the owners work.
