I saw Kiki for color and haircut and she did an amazing job. I was 7 months pregnant and reluctant to go to any salon because most of the chemicals made me feel nauseous and I didn’t want to expose the baby to anything nasty. The salon is small and busy but I felt great the whole time I was there. There were no strong odors. The icing on the cake was that my hair looked as good or even better than other salons that use more toxic chemicals. Kiki is a very talented stylist and very pleasant and personable to be around.

I’ve been going to Rika for many years now and Plum is the best spot for truly natural products and a sustainably, responsibly run salon. The hair coloring products are very gentle and do not aggrevate my scalp. My hair is very healthy and thick- and I’m well into my 40s. Rika is a delightful soul who is very good at her trade. I leave consistently happy and delighted with my hair. The salon is sweetly and thoughtfully decorated reflecting the staff’s values around nature and eco- friendly priorities.
