OMFD THANK-YOU CHRISTIAN!!! After walking around looking RIDICULOUS for a week, my daughter recommended her stylist at The Parlor but he is booked til the day I leave the island. She then suggested I try Christian as every head she’s seen him cut looks great. I’m NGL, I was skeptical(maybe borderline hostile) and was not at all swayed by Christian’s zeal, nor his immediately affable personality. 180° difference in professionalism and skill was obvious as Christian not only listened and engaged me in the entire process. LOVIN the new ‘do and cannot say enough how grateful I am for Christian’s excellent work and overall congeniality!!

Great place in Kapolei at the mixed use neighborhood. Parking can be an issue depending on the day. However you do need to make an online appointment ahead of time. There are about 9 seats for the different barbers. I like the place and it was easy to find. Jordan is my Barber and he takes the time needed to tame my mane. I would rather sit with an untamed mane than to have anyone else cut it. Thanks Flo and the Parlor 10 out of 5.

Just got my haircut here for the first time. I had givin up on my hair, it was thinning and my hairline was receding. Then i met braddah Cristian. He did such an awesone job and fully restored my confidence in myself. I recently went through a pretty rough break up and never thought a simple haircut could break me down to tears. He did that for me. Much mahaloz to him and all the Parlor oahana for their positive vibes as soon as i walked into the door. I definitely going back to see him.

Absolutely the worst cut I have ever had! I asked for a longer businessman haircut and this is what I got for $45. However, the worst part is that I’ve left multiple messages trying to get ahold of the management since last Wednesday and no one has had the decency to even return my calls. Extremely unprofessional. I have never left a unfavorable review on any site but I’m forced to so you don’t make my mistake. Do not use this barber shop! The barbers were using profanity and gossiping loudly and negatively about other barbers and barber shops and flirting with another female barber who was there for a trim.

The best haircut experience, and the staff is really polite! Kikowa is the only barber I trust since he does such an excellent job with each and every detail. As long as you have a concept of the look that you desire, he will be able to fulfill your wishes.

The Parlor is a locally-owned shop that is well worth the wait. Booking an appointment on short notice can be difficult as the barbers are very busy, but if you’re willing to book a few days in advance I highly recommend this barbershop. The staff treat you as ‘ohana, and the quality of the cut is excellent. Whether you need a quick line-up or a full cut, this is the place to go. I will definitely be coming back here for my next touch-up.
