I have been going to Jill (the stylist and owner of The Palace) for years. In response to a previous reviewer, there is nothing fishy about the place. They have been operating for years and have regular customers. The reason they don’t take walk ins is because they don’t need to. Both women do great work and I hope they never leave. And the woman you speak of is indeed a master barber who has had many of the same customers for decades. They don’t operate like a Great Clips, you do need to make an appointment. You should have scheduled one. Then you could have given an accurate review.

I have been going here for 20 years. I always seen June, she is always precise in the way that she does the haircuts to ensure that it is what is wanted. As the previous poster states, they do not need walk-ins as they are consistently booked up. If you need a haircut, call and make an appointment.

I walked by this business several times as I live in the area. I thought I would go check it out. On the door there are no specific hours posted. It is not listed on the door anywhere that you can only get your haircut by appointment only. I walked in (the door was propped open I assume for air circulation. The haircutter present was assisting a client. She paused looked up at me and froze. Didn’t say a word. The client just stared at me. I politely said I came to get a haircut. The “Master Barber” according to the card she later gave me said we only work by appointment. Had I known that I wouldn’t have waisted my time walking over there to check it out. Definitely not Master Barbers! There card states they have been in business for over 50 years, but this is the first Google review? Something doesn’t add up.
