Positive: Quality, ValueTen stars for “The New Look” hair salon!! I happen to do a job in gas city today and we got done early and I thought I really need to get my haircut before I go to Florida. Low and behold, this shops open sign was on right in the same parking lot. I called.and the price was reasonable and Karen, superstar, got me right in!! As soon as she started washing my hair I knew she was good and she did not let me down. She gave me the cutest cut and did amazing things with her razor blade. Karen was sweet and a pleasure to be around I really enjoyed her company and I also loved her jewelry. Thank you Karen!!! Can’t wait till my family and friends see my DO! Ten stars for “The New Look” hair salon!! I happen to do a job in gas city today and we got done early and I thought I really need to get my haircut before I go to Florida. Low and behold, this shops open sign was on right in the same parking lot. I called.and the price was reasonable and Karen, superstar, got me right in!! As soon as she started washing my hair I knew she was good and she did not let me down. She gave me the cutest cut and did amazing things with her razor blade. It’s supposed to be dark brown with deep purple highlights..I have lavender pink red and blind after wash .she sent me home with dye in my hair and told me to wipe it off with a paper towel..I called twice for a refund she said twice shewould call me back .will never let this woman touch my hair again! Critical: QualityI usually have Karen whom always did a great job. She would stay late come in etc when I need done.I had Margie last time and it was awful. My color was have done in the back she had only foiled the tips on the sides large hunks of hair were not foiled. Color was horrible. Cut was sad as well even went back to have cut redone. Did not improve, one side had hunks cut out and looked like she started to layer and stopped. TheOther side did not match. It was more of a trim the ends cut, not what i asked for. I don’t mind waiting because she ran over with 2 walk ins if I get professional service I do mind a rush job done halfway and being charged full price. Nothing is worse than a bad hair style.
