I have been going to Thao specifically to get my nails done for 3 1/2 years now. I get acrylic gel manicures, and Thao is the best! Recently, there have been some additions to the team, and Kim did my nails. She did an incredible job! She gave me the perfect shape I was looking for, and I felt like the final product was a work of art. Her attention to detail and professionalism were top notch, and she takes pride in her work since she takes her time to ensure your nails look perfect before you leave. I felt comfortable and relaxed, and I will be sure to make Kim my go-to nail lady from now on!

Peter was my tech and he was rude and hurt me. I mentioned this while I was checking out and the receptionist seemed apologetic. I was there the week before and had a fantastic pedicure with one of the female techs. When I went to schedule another manicure I requested to not be placed with Peter and the lady on the phone said that this could not be guaranteed/he may be the only one available. I understand everyone is short staffed, but if a client is willing to give your business another chance after a terrible experience, you would imagine they would try to accommodate. I just moved to the area and was excited to find a new nail salon, unfortunately Thao will not be that place. Before writing this review, I saw another Yelp reviewer complaining about a male tech, I assume to be Peter. I would advise others to consider other salons.

The employees went above and beyond. There was confusion with an ombre style nail and my toes ended up not matching the gel I picked instead.they repainted my toes and when I left I accidently ruined part of my toe nail. They didnt hesistant to fix it. Gel manicures, Nail polish changes

On vacation. Checked reviews for a good pedicure. Nails by Thao was the best. 4 of us got pedicures. We were well taken care of by the staff. Everyone on the beach was commenting on our toes!

I was very impressed by the pleasantness of my nail tech, and the cleanliness of the salon but I was very disappointed in the quality of the work considering the shop came to me highly recommended. I went in for an acrylic fill and they did not use a pink powder to fill, so the joint line is very visible. They changed the shape of my nails altogether along with making each nail a different length! After buffing she did not ask me to wash my hands nor did she thoroughly clean my hands, she just brushed off the heavy dust. She then polished my nails with the residual dust still on my hands and nails and now I have dust particles trapped under my clear nail polish. Due to the fact that this was my first visit to the shop I was just going with the flow and seeing how they did things, I did not raise much of my own opinion on how it should be done during the appointment. But as a result of my recent experience I won’t be rushing back!
