I wanted to love this place but my first experience was meh at best. The older lady who did my gel mani cut my cuticle in two spots, which does happen, but it was obvious she did not care (no apology). It showed in her work as well. The mani was mediocre at best and definitely rushed.

I’ve been coming to The Nail Shop Met since they opened (and The Nail Shop Brannon Crossing before!) and can’t say enough good things about them! I believe I’ve had every nail tech in the shop at some point. They have great attention to detail and are always welcoming and kind. Services are excellent and I’ve done everything from fun designs to a quick color change. Also, the pick 2 pedi is an awesome deal! I love the sugar scrub and the hot stone massage and it’s a treat that I look forward to whenever I get a pedi! Tee did a beautiful design for my nails for my wedding and I’ll treasure that always. Highly recommend!

I made an appointment in advance for a gel manicure. When I arrived, I showed the tech a photo of a colored french manicure. Because I had not mentioned wanting french tips on the phone, I was told they could not do what I wanted. I said I would just go somewhere else (I am leaving for vacation tomorrow and getting my nails done is a special treat – so I wanted to get what I had envisioned). I was told they would still be charging me $25 for canceling! I indicated that this was unacceptable and the front desk worker called her manager. When she returned, she said they would waive the fee today, but there would be a $25 hold on my account; I would have to pay it if I ever wanted services from the nail shop in the future. Fortunately, I am planning to return. I was literally in tears due to their rudeness.

I’ve been there multiple times for manis and pedis. I saw Lee today for a pedi and he was fantastic! Very attentive to detail and the results were great. Love the organization of the nail color options, no fumbling around through sticks. And love that I can request appointments via Instagram. The shop is always clean and the service is fantastic.

Everyone is so friendly and it is always clean and sanitary. My nails look great and I can make it three weeks between appointments. When The Met opened, I started going there b/c they were closer. I have NEVER had a bad experience at either shop! The staff is great and everyone is super friendly. They got me in quickly despite me not having an appointment. Pedicure was really nice. Enjoyed epsom salt scrub, hot stone massage, and hot towel wrap. No corners cut on these services. Pedicure
