Best nail shop in Lexington HANDS DOWN. I’m so picky about my nails and they have never disappointed me. It’s always so clean and makes me feel safe getting my nails done. Everyone is very friendly and you can tell they truly wants to make their clients happy. If you like your nails almond shape, you will especially love it here. My favorite nail salon in Lexington! I’ve tried many other places around the area, but The Nail Shop was by far my best experience. My nail tech was great and I was very happy with the results of my nails last time I went. My nails lasted over a month and I only got them removed because my nails had grown out too much. The price you pay here is well worth the quality from my experience!!

Worst experience ever. Firstly the nail artist insisted I couldn’t have the color I picked out because it was a “light color” I guess because it’s fall? She continued to harass me about the color and when I politely responded, she would immediately talk in another language in comment to her coworker and laugh. At this point I already felt horrible about my experience, but it kept getting worse.

Unsanitary conditions. Poor quality of work. Extremely hot inside. Didn’t listen when I spoke up about the poor quality, and didn’t even offer to redo while I was there. My nails were filed down so short it was painful. Asked them not to file or shorten. They did anyway. The thickest dip nails I’ve ever seen. Cut my cuticles and fingers multiple times. They swelled and hurt so bad that I had to go to a doctor about it. Zero name brand products, only weird off brand colors. Expensive and prices online didn’t match in store. When I called about my experience I was offered 20% off a future service…why would I want to come back to an unsanitary unsatisfactory establishment? My cousin went to the other location in Lexington and had a similar bad experience. Highly do not recommend.
