The staff is very nice (most of them) but the «manager» who is constantly on the phone (rushes you when on the phone and rushes you when you are in person), has a terrible demeanor . I had to wait multiple times on my scheduled appointment (sometimes more than 30 mnts) but the one time I had been delayed he had no one to assign to me. His attitude is deplorable. There are too many places to go to- avoid this place. Not worth the aggravation.

The salon may be good, but the attitude is not attentive. I signed up for the day by 11 am. I waited 30 minutes and was advised to go to another salon. I needed to get 2 nails repaired! It is worth considering ….

Every time I go to The Nail Lounge of La Jolla, I have to wait 30-45 minutes for my appointment. The man at the front desk has a bad attitude! He does not care how long I have to wait. Great location of this nail salon, it’s just 10 minutes from my workplace so I go often. They are very efficient and do quality work. My nails don’t chip that fast like other places because they use a high quality top coat and shine. Their selection of colors is awesome too. Love this place and all the friends I’ve made here 🙂

Asked to do a design and when she was doing it it was not what I asked so I told her to just do all one color then she proceeded to keep doing the design badly and then charged me 20$ more. Enjoy going here because their work is very good and always last compared to many places I have try in the area. As with every places nowaday, staff shortages and longer wait time is common then before covid Era. I don’t usually mind that because it’s the only place I have come to trust. Everyone is very nice and friendly. They are careful with what they do, so I appreciate that.

The manicure and pedicure my mother and I had were good, but it was so stressful to get to that point. I rang in advance and booked for us to have our treatments at the same time and this was confirmed. When we turned up at the time I had booked it was complete chaos with people everywhere, children running all over the place and far too many customers. It took ages to be seated and I had to push so hard for this to happen. If I hadn’t been so pushy I think we would have been waiting for much longer. It was very stressful and we will never come back here again, even though manicures and pedicures were good and pretty good value. Really disappointed by our experience at The Nail Lounge.

Love this place! They do an amazing job and their gel manicures always look beautiful and last 3+ weeks without chipping or peeling. The technicians are also consistently good no matter who you get. I’ve been getting my nails done at Nail Lounge for years and have never been disappointed!
