The Nail Corner in Woodbridge is under new ownership!!! The previous shop named Five Star Nails had horrendous reviews – and rightly so. However, since the beginning of March 2017 Tracy Luong and her family have bought the place, painted and refurbished all the tables and pedicure chairs and added SNS as an option! I just started using the SNS and was skeptical at first because I’m pretty hard on my hands (and cuticles quite frankly) but I love the SNS now. And oh by the way, Tracy’s prices are WAY BETTER than any other shops doing SNS in the area. I have known Tracy going on 6 years or so, I followed her from places she worked before, to the previous shop she and her family owned that was super successful but they recently sold due to personal family issues running the business was too much with everything else going on. I’m ESTACTIC that she was finally willing to buy another place!!! She has extremely high standards and those employees who don’t live up to those standards are welcome to find other employment. Most of the previous Five Star employees have left – thank goodness. She has hired new talent and the couple that remain of the former staff are very clear on conforming to her high standards and expectations. Tracy Luong has over 15 years of experience in the nail industry, worked for many years out in CA (where I’m from). I have super sensitive nail beds and she is the only person I will let do my nails – so let’s hope she doesn’t move to PA or I’m going to have quite a drive on my hands lol. Apparently, the customer comment sites like google, yelp, etc won’t take off negative reviews from a former owner even if the business sells and changes names so nothing prior to early March 2017 should be attributed to The Nail Corner. P.S. there’s a Starbucks and a Bed, Bath & Beyond right next door – not that I need coffee all the time, but ya know, it helps!

My nails look very springy/Eastery! The Nail Corner did a great job and I loved the 20% off discount running right now because they are under new management. I’m new to regular mani/pedis, but have gone here twice recently and both times got gel polish on my finger nails. I love how well it holds up. Tracy did my finger nails and I love that she is OCD about her work. I’m a cuticle biter, but she did such a great job on them that I’m not picking/biting.

I literally googled nails near me and this was the closest to my hotel; i walked in and asked for a manicure. Everything was perfect. Vi did my manicure and my eyebrows, she was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely visit again within my temporary stay in this area. Im happy!

The Nail Corner is a great nail salon. Tracy is outstanding. I’ve been getting my nails done by her for years. Her work is outstanding and I have followed her every time she moved because no one else can do my nails like she does. This new salon is fantastic. It’s clean, the massage chairs are new and very nice, they use liners for the foot baths. Wonderful. Each client gets their own file, pedi scrub stone, and buffer. And they have yummy Vietnamese coffee! The prices are great and the work is quality. I highly recommend going!

The first time I went to nail salon was a great experience. Went several times after and I also always give tip. My last experience, not happy. I always get nail design and this time I was rushed and my request for design was ignored. The first older lady that helped was struggling to do my nails, and then Tracey took over but ignored my instruction I requested for nail. I probably wont be back.

I really loved when Ms. Mary did my husbands pedicure so I decided to come back and have mines done. Looking past the poor rating of the business I saw positive review for Tracey and asked if she could do my nails. Long story I waited an hour and thirty minutes after being told it’ll be thirty minutes, my pedicure was definitely rushed and my full set was NOTHING I asked for. I was so irritated by the fact that my nails were all different sizes I was just ready to leave. Overall being there two hours I was not happy.
